Can't Escape From You.

"You guys know I hate scary things." Karl said to his friends. "Come on its not a haunted house, it's an escape room. Don't be a wuss it's going to be fun." His friend Owen said. Karl rolled his eyes and walked in to the building. Karl was 17 but he was scared of a good amount of things. He was scared of small spaces, scary things, even working with others. Now he had to combine all those things in one with his idiot friends.

"Guys I am so excited to do this escape room."Sapnap said to his friends. "Alright calm down some." Dream said to his best friend. Sapnap was the opposite of Karl as you can see. Sapnap loved scary things. Matter a fact it was his idea for the escape room. 

The two made  it into the escape room place. Karl was fiddling around with his belt on his pants. Karl really didn't want to do this but all his friends in his friend group were going. Karl was so nervous he didn't even hear the tour guy explaining how to do the game. He didn't even see all his friends walk off to the room. Karl snapped back in reality and realised all his friends were gone. He was in the lobby, now all alone. Karl sighed and sat down on one of the lobby chairs. 

Sapnap and his friends went inside and Sapnap was super excited. Sapnap knew that he was going to ace this escape room. Evidently he was thinking of ways he could try to escape this room. He watched millions of videos all night just for a photo that says, "I escaped." Since he was thinking of these ways he missed the instructor explain things to his group. HIs friends completely walked away. Sapnap looked up from his phone and thoughts and saw his friends gone. Sapnap instantly got upset and went to sit down in a lobby chair when he saw a brown haired boy sitting down alone looking down at his feet. Sapnap felt bad not only for himself but for this boy he saw that was alone like him.

Sapnap wanted to do something. He was so excited to do this escape room and maybe this boy was too. Sapnap went and sat down right next to Karl. "Hey" Sapnap said to Karl. Karl looked up, "Um Hello." Karl said. Karl had forgot his phone in his friends car, and his friend had to the keys. So he was stuck doing nothing for one and a half hours."I'm Sapnap." He said. Karl was a little frustrated that this conversation was going on kind of slow. "I-I'm Karl. Hey uh is there something you want?" Karl said to Sapnap. "Oh uh right. I saw you here alone not doing anything. Do you want to do something together? My friends left me." Sapnap said. "No no uh you don't need to pay for me really." Karl said trying to make up an excuse. Karl was sort of happy that he was left he didn't want to be here in the first place. "No really its only 2 people not that much. It's probably better than you sitting out here doing nothing." Sapnap said now looking in Karl's pretty blue eyes. Karl looked at this stranger. A stranger who was the only one who noticed he was left behind by his friends. Karl hated this idea with a passion but for some reason he didn't hate the idea being with this guy. "Okay I'll do it. Just to let you know I get scared really easily so please beware. Oh I never said my name I'm Karl." Karl said. Sapnap had a big grin on his place. Karl smiled at Sapnap's excitement. Sapnap grabbed his hand and went to the front desk to go get a room for the too.

The front desk man was leading them to their room and he saw the doors were covered with crime scene tape, fake spiders, masks and all the creepy decor. Sapnap was actually still holding Karl's hand but then felt that Karl squeezed his hand tighter when they were walking past rooms. "Hey its okay, those are just decorations. And even if we don't escape they will let us out anyways." He said rubbing his thumb on Karl's sweaty hands. "You don't get it Sapnap I only came here because my friends were here. I hate scary things, I hate small places, and I hate not being able to get out of things when I want to. The only reason I said yes to you because you are really nice and cute-" Karl said. Oh no he just called this random nice stranger cute. I mean yes Karl thought Sapnap was cute but there was a slim chance that Sapnap liked guys. "I'm sorry ignore that last part. That was inappropriate I just met you." Karl said. "Well thank you for calling me cute. And Even though I just met you, you trust me to hold your hand right? And your cute too by the way." Sapnap said. Karl blushed and so did Sapnap.

They made it to their room and the tour guide man played a scary video about a mystery case and how they needed to solve it. Sapnap nodded and looked around the room. But then the door slammed shut. Karl jumped. Sapnap laughed at this. "Sapnap I told you I couldn't do this." Karl said. "No we are fine. We just have to solve some puzzles and we are out. It doesn't even need to take the full hour." Sapnap said turning to him and putting one of his hands on Karl's waist. Karl nodded and looked down at the floor because he was blushing at where Sapnap's hand was. "What are your grades? What grade are you in." Sapnap said. "I'm in 11th grade and I have all A's." Karl said. "Well I'm in 11th grade too and I don't have anything close to all A's. You can solve some puzzles with those grades. And besides I love escape rooms." Sapnap said rubbing his thumb on Karl's waist. 

The two looked around the room. Your supposed to be separating to covermore area but Karl did not leave Sapnap's side. But Sapnap didn't mind that Karl was a little shadow of him. Sapnap went all around the room and solved much puzzles that led to other puzzles. Karl saw that this escape room was actually not that bad. Karl backed up from Sapnap's shoulder and went to look around. Karl started looking around the room. He started fiddling around with things on the walls and shelfs. Karl saw a candle stick and moved it into this weird circle indent. Then a then shelf opened. And Karl did a slight scream and flinched. "Look what you did! This is the last key we needed to get out of here. Good job." Sapnap said with a smile and gave Karl a hug. Karl smiled and hugged back with more blush on his face. They broke their hug and Sapnap took the key and opened the door to their escape room. "Finally!" Karl said running out of the room, because again he hates closed spaces. "Come on I wasn't that bad." Sapnap said. "No you weren't but that room was." Sapnap laughed at this and just looked at karl just in his eyes. "Hey you too! Did you love birds have fun?!" The tour guide person said. "Oh no we are-we aren't-" Sapnap started. "Yeah we uh just met." Karl said. The tour guide looked at them confuslly and apologized for assuming things. 

Karl and Sapnap blushed. They started walking down the long hallway again and somehow they got their hands intertwined again. "Hey I uh want to say thank you." Karl said. "For letting me do this escape room with you, even though you did all the work. And next time I can pay." Karl said. "Next time?" Sapnap said teasing. "I mean if you- we don't have to-" Karl said stuttering. "No we definitely can have a next time, It's a date. Here is my phone number its-"" I actually forgot my phone in my friends car." Karl said embarrassed."Oh and that reminds me, for your own sake get new friends. Real friends wouldn't force you to come here. At least my friends wanted to come here as well." Sapnap said. Karl nodded and they continued to walk down the hallway.

Once they got to the lobby they saw each of their friend groups. "Where were you Karl? You ditched us." Owen said. Karl apologized but Sapnap didn't want like the way he was getting pushed around. "Well from the looks of it you guys left him,but its not like he wanted to be here anyways." Sapnap said. Karl looked at Sapnap shaking his arm to tell him to stop. Sapnap looked at Karl's face and saw he was quite scared of what his friends might say or do and he didn't want to make it worse. "Whatever I don't even know who you are. Karl lets go." Owen said. Karl looked at Sapnap and let go of his hand and started walking. Sapnap was upset that Karl listened to his friends. As Karl started walking and turned around and stuck his pinkie and thumb finger out signaling for him to call him. "Wait!" Sapnap said. "I never gave you my number." Sapnap said running up to Karl. Sapnap gave Karl his number and wrote it on his hand. As soon as Karl got in the car he typed in Sap's number and texted him a red heart. Sapnap texted one back. This was the start of something amazing.

A/n: Cute chapter. I didn't want to use the same format as I do my last stories so hope you like a little cliffhanger but sort of a good ending. Also I needed a random name so there it was, lol.
