Dancing To Your Love.

Karl and Sapnap did dance. Sometimes they would get made fun of it at school but they didn't care. They did all styles lyrical,hiphop,contemporary and more. They were now at practice and to be honest they didn't like each other. Well one they were really competitive for one. They always did group dances and never really had to interact with each other. But when one got a special part in a group dance, or a solo,duet, trio or just anything that the other person didn't have it was a mess. To be honest they like each other and twice actually they went on a date. But someone had told Sapnap some rumor about Karl that said Karl didn't like guys and was just using him,which wasn't true. Sapnap always knew not to trust rumors but for some reason this one hurt. When they went on their first date Sapnap texted Karl immediately and they called for hours. But after their 2nd date Sapnap had heard the rumor and decided to cut Karl off completely. But after he did that the friend who told him the rumor admitted it was a dare for 20 bucks.Sapnap was heartbroken. He had just cut of one of the nicest boys he had even met for a dare. Karl was heartbroken too. He had no idea why Sapnap cut him off suddenly. But most of all Karl was mad. Sapnap did try to talk to Karl but Karl ignored him. To be honest Karl really still liked Sapnap but he wanted Sapnap to know how it feels to be ignored. But now Karl had ignored Sapnap for months now and Sapnap got mad as well. Sapnap thought he tried enough and if Karl didn't want to talk it was his fault. So that's how the competitiveness started. The to just hiding their feelings for each other in anger.  

They were now at their dance studio sitting on the floor starching when their dance teacher finally came in they stood up. "Alright everyone this weekend we will go to a dance competition downtown. I know the teams there and they have really good students there. So this weekend we will be doing a group dance but Sapnap and Karl won't be in it." the teacher said. Karl and Sapnap looked at each other but quickly turned away as they were confused to why they weren't dancing. "That's because you too will be competing in the duet division. The duet I already have planned and to be honest hard. I want you to to focus on this duet this week that's why you aren't with the group. You are not in the group so I expect you to win." the teacher explained. Everyone got up and the two got pulled in the different studio with another teacher to work on their duet. While the two were walking to the studio they couldn't stop thinking that they have to dance with their crush who they think hate them.

Once they got in the studio they still didn't say a word to each other and waited for the teacher to walk in. "Alright boys.I know this is your first duet with each other. You guys are amazing,strong, and beautiful when you dance alone. So imagine what you guys can do when you dance together. The name of your dance is called "Fire and Ice." Sapnap you are the fire who in the beginning dances by himself and has a tough outside. Karl you are playing ice who is nice,sweet and everyone loves them. You guys have this sort of ultimate battle in the dance and Karl is going to pretend to be hurt after the fight. But Sapnap is going to help him up and you do some moves in unison at the end and walk of stage holding hands with your differences aside. It's all about character. You need to be together with this, you need to be a duo and interact with each other." their teacher explained. Karl and Sapnap looked at each other and nodded at the teacher. They didn't have to talk right? They only needed to dance.

The teacher started teaching them their moves and one of the moves needed for Sapnap to pick Karl up slightly and throw him on the ground gently. But Sapnap was nervous because he had to pick up his crush by the waist. Sapnap was picking Karl up,"gently Sapnap" the teacher added. Now Sapnap needed to throw him in the air in a gentle way. Sapnap being distracted by his hands being on Karl's waist he threw him up a little too high and Karl landed on his hands and knees. "Dude what the fuck?" Karl said standing up. "Sorry it was a accident" Sapnap said in a caring but snorky tone. "Yeah right" Karl said rolling his eyes. "Boys there is no need for blaming people. Karl it was an accident it's harder than it looks. Sapnap let's try again." their teacher said. The two tried again and finally got the throw down. The teacher thought them the rest of the dance basics overall.

The rest of the week went pretty smoothly. If you count not talking to each other and getting mad at the other person for messing up when they had to do things together, as smooth. This dance was going to be as good as they let it to be. But the two has never lost individual dances and they don't plan to lose one now. But this duet did increase their feelings for each other. They hadn't got this close to each other in a while. Whenever their faces got remotely close they resisted the urge not to kiss the other person right then and there, despite their differences. 

It was now competition day and they were backstage ready to perform. They were both telling themself that it was just another dance and they needed to dance like normal and pretend like they are not doing a date with their crush. "Now announcing Fire and Ice." the announcer said. They walked on stage and did their dance like usal. The lift and toss went good and everything was in sync after that.But that end pose was the end of both of them. They had to sit there looking in each others eyes for about 5 seconds straight. They were doing their dance and it was just the end. They did their last turn and they looked at each other. They were just inches apart Sapnap couldn't take it and he combined their lips together. Right there on stage in front of everyone. The kiss was only a little bit longer than a peck but they both enjoyed it. They ran off stage and actually started to panic. "Sapnap they are going to kill us for doing that." Karl said out of breath but smiling. "Do you really care?" Sapnap asked out of breath from his dance as well. "Well- no not really." Karl said. Sapnap grabbed his waist and pulled him in for another kiss and Karl melted in his arms. "Karl I'm really sorry, for everything. I shouldn't have listened my friend and the time I found out it wasn't true it was too late." Sapnap said breaking the kiss. "No I'm sorry I should have let you apologize way sooner." Karl said smiling. Sapnap smiled back.

It was now time for awards. And when they went to the green room with their team their teacher had said they might get eliminated for the kiss, put none the less it added a really cool feature to the dance and she was glad the two were happy.  They were on stage hearing people get 5th, then 4th, then 3rd, at this point they thought they were probably eliminated. "And in 1st place overall is.. Fire and Ice!" the announcer said. Karl and Sapnap jumped up in shock and accepted the award. They went in the green room and their team clapped for them in celebration. "Congrats you too! The judges notes said that they loved the inclusiveness, and the kiss added to the plot. Maybe I should let you too more duets!" the teacher said. Karl and Sapnap smiled. They were walking down the hallway to go home and Sapnap turned to Karl,"Hey do you maybe want to go on a 3rd date sometime?" Sapnap asked. "I'd like that." Karl said smiling. The rest of the way to the bus they spent holding hands and on the bus they fell asleep in each others arms.
