I groaned it was Tuesday meaning I would again have to see Michael.
I decided to stay home. I felt ill and very emotional, I think if I saw Michael in a corridor I would simply burst into tears.
Not because I was scared but because we could no longer be friends it was impossible.
I texted my mum even though she was only downstairs asking her if she could please ring the school and tell them that I am to ill to attend school.
I hadn't told her about the little incident.
I crawled back under the sharers and went back to sleep.
* ring *
* ring *
My phone went off. It was 12:30, Ashton was ringing me in lunch.
I picked it up and said, "hey" in a small croaky voice.
"Hey, what's wrong are you you okay?" He sounded so worried.
"Yeah I am fine, we'll sort of come round after school I will explain, love you bye x."
"Bye love you too." I put down the phone.
I decided I might as well get up otherwise I would never sleep tonight.
When I was downstairs I made myself some beans on toast, and sat down to eat.
::in the afternoon::
I was in bed on my laptop watching the fault in our stars for like the billionth time, when there was a knock on the door guessing it was Ashton I walked down stairs and answered it.
"Hey," said Ashton smiling and hugging me
"Hey." I whispered into his shoulder, hugging him back.
Then he picked me up like a little baby, kissed my nose and took me upstairs.
When he put me on my bed and had sat down with me he asked me what was wrong.
"Michael..yesterday..it was nothing." I said awkwardly avoiding his eyes.
" Well obviously it wasn't nothing because you didn't want to see him today hmm." Damn he nailed that to the point.
"I just he...." I tried to keep it together but I couldn't I shouldn't have to.
"Ashton he touched me." I said crying into to his warm chest, but it brought make memories of yesterday, I cried harder sitting in his lap with my hands around his neck. He hugged me he hugged me like I was the only one the only one that could make him happy.
He looked down at me and I starred back into his lovely eyes. I even managed a small smile. He kissed my forehead.
"It's gonna be okay you are safe with me baby, I promise. okay?"
"Okay." I thought this was ironic as I had just watched the fault in our stars.
"I love you Ashton." I cried.
"I love you too Olivia."
Why was it that he could make me feel this way make my hands go numb and tingly make my insides smile. Why is he so amazing.
