She watched the car drive past the Mystic Falls sign and leaned back in her seat, wrapping her arms around herself as her legs bounced up and down in anticipation.

Their next stop was Beacon Hills. Her father thought it would be a good time to take a break from school and work and drop by her uncle's house for a short visit.

"We'll be back, Alex,"her mom said and turned around to glance at her.

"I know, but in the middle of a school week? Couldn't it wait?"Alexandra questioned with a frown.

"School can wait,"Jackson shrugged.

He always made sure their little family had enough breaks and time together.

Time was precious and so is family.

"Come on, you'll get to meet Scott. I'm sure you missed him,"he said and briefly glanced at the rear view mirror to see her reaction.

The truth was that she was afraid to see him again since the last time she did, because what if he no longer loves her? Who will be there to help her pick up the broken pieces of her heart?

What if he was no longer the same boy he was when they fell in love?

They were kids when they said they liked each other, and now they were growing up.

She kept her silence the rest of the ride and looked out the window, dreading their arrival to Beacon Hills.

It wasn't too long before the car pulled up right in front of Noah's home and she climbed out of the car.

"Dad, Uncle Jackson's here!"she heard her cousin yell in the house before the door opened and an eager Eden walked toward them.

"Hey, you,"Jackson opened up his arms and embraced her.

Sierra smiled and waved at Stiles who trailed out behind his sister. Eden grabbed Alexandra's hand and pulled her into the house, up the stairs and into Stiles' room.

Alexandra stopped at the door when she realized who was on the bed, waiting like he was expecting her.

"Alex... Hey,"Scott greeted.

He got off the bed and she ran into his arms, relieving in the warmth of it.

"We missed you so much,"Eden said.

"I missed you guys too. How's school?"Alexandra questioned and sat down at the edge of Stiles' bed as he walked into his room.

"School's... great,"he nodded.

"I have food!"Sierra called out from the kitchen as she unpacked the food they bought on their way over.

She laid it all out on the table and pulled her chair back.

The group of teens ran down to join the family.

"Oh, hey, Scott,"Sierra said with surprise.

"I didn't know you were here,"her eyes glanced at her daughter and her lips curled into a teasing smile.

"You are absolutely not subtle, Sierra,"Jackson shook his head.

She rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, Stiles and Eden told me you guys were visiting today,"Scott said with a casual shrug.

"You guys got my favorite. No way!"Stiles gasped.

Sierra chuckled and pushed the plate of pizza toward him.

"Eat up."

The night carried on with the family catching up on whatever had been missed and the kids reminiscing about the times when Alexandra and her family stayed in Beacon Hills. They hung out in Stiles' bedroom as the adults sat in the living room.
