"Zeke? Hey!"Alexandra waved at him as she set down the food dishes in her hands.

"Hey,"he greeted and neared her and her family.

"Is this the Zeke you guys have been talking about?"Sierra questioned.

"Hi, Mrs Stilinski,"Ezekiel reached his hand out.

"Just call me Sierra. My last name's Alexandre,"she smiled and shook his hand.

"Jackson,"he turned to the father.

"All alone today?"Jackson questioned.

"Yeah, my family is not one for a Historical Society Volunteer Picnic day,"Ezekiel smiled as the lie easily flowed out of his lips.

"That's fine, you can join us instead,"Sierra nodded.

"What? Really, Ma?"Alexandra frowned.

"Why not? I wanna get to know the Zeke Vincent you're always rambling about,"her mother shrugged with a grin.

"Ma,"Alexandra whined.

Ezekiel chuckled.

"If I'm intruding, I don't mind leaving,"he said.

"Nonsense, Alex will be fine,"Jackson waved her off and sat down.

"So, would be it be rude of me to ask why you didn't take after the Stilinski name?"Ezekiel questioned and took a seat across from Alexandra.

"I wanted to keep my family's name alive,"Sierra said.

"I'm an only child so I didn't really have any brothers to keep the Alexandre name,"she explained.

"That's amazing,"Ezekiel nodded.

"I have too many siblings. Sometimes, it gets rowdy,"he groaned.

"Beer?"Jackson questioned and offered a bottle.

"Yes, please,"Ezekiel accepted the bottle.

"How many siblings do you have?"Sierra questioned.

"There's eight of us,"he answered.

Eight if two weren't dead.

"Mason Lockwood,"Adela folded her arms as she approached him with her brother by her side.

Mason turned around with a cup in his hand and smiled at her.

"Working hard?"Damon questioned.

"Doing my part,"Mason answered with a shrug.

"Who's this?"he nodded to the girl.

"Ella Salvatore,"she smiled.

"I'm the hotter and logical sister,"she waved.

"I heard you talked to Stefan,"Damon said.

"Nice guy,"Mason said.

"Yeah, a lot nicer than me,"Damon smiled.

"Well, nice is overrated,"Mason shrugged it off.

"That's what I think,"Damon gasped.

Mason downed the rest of his lemonade and turned to Adela.

"You two have a good day,"he said and walked away.

"Please tell me you were just bonding,"Stefan neared them.

"So, what's up with this faux drama in your relationship?"Damon questioned, avoiding Stefan's comment.

"What are you talking about?"Stefan frowned.

"Come on, Stefan. You and Elena don't fight, especially not over me."

Stefan glanced away and looked back at him.
