Ezekiel crouched down and his hand lightly ran across the growing grass by the blue lilies bush as Damon said. He plucked a few and rested them on the empty space, marking where she laid six feet below.

"Did you really love her?"

He glanced up as Damon neared him with his arms folded and cautious eyes.

"You don't think I do?"Ezekiel questioned.

"You're an Original... You could have anyone and everyone. You could eat everybody and anybody,"Damon said.

"Including her,"his eyes turned to the grass Ezekiel sat on where his sister laid beneath.

"I'm not my brother, Damon. I love her, and I think I always will for the rest of my life,"Ezekiel muttered and glanced back down at the marked spot.

"I'm a Mikaelson, that's a fact, but I think you should know by now that we are not all the same,"he said and stood up.

Damon gazed at him for a long second before turning his back to him.

"Get off my backyard. I don't want someone lurking around my house while I'm gone,"he muttered before he walked away.

Ezekiel sat there a little longer before he climbed onto his motorcycle and rolled his eyes as his sister neared him.

"What's with that look? Are you upset with me?"Rebekah's brows furrowed.

"I thought I could have peace and quiet after we burned the White Oak. Apparently not..."he sighed.

"Niklaus,"he turned his gaze to his brother beside Rebekah.

"You don't look so happy to see me, Brother,"Niklaus faked a pout.

"I wonder why,"Ezekiel scoffed.

"What do you want, Nik?"he questioned and started his motorcycle.

"Just your blood. Nik has a witch who can help unlink us all from each other, and then we can all go our separate ways again,"Rebekah explained.

"Have at it then,"Ezekiel extended his arm.

Niklaus' lips lifted into a grin before he walked toward him and pulled out a knife, dragging it down Ezekiel's arm.

"You still wish pain on me, Brother?"Ezekiel said through gritted teeth as he held in a wince.

"Taking her away wasn't enough?"

Blood streamed down into a small bottle and filled half of it. Niklaus capped it and slid it into the inside pocket of his jacket.

"We have thousands of years together,"he backed away with open arms, gesturing to the space around them.

"Why stop there?"

He headed back toward his car and left, leaving Rebekah with Ezekiel.

"Where are you off to?"Ezekiel called out to his sister tht was headed toward the house.

"I have unfinished business with Damon Salvatore,"she said.

"Well, that unfinished has to wait because he just left awhile ago,"he shrugged.

"I have all the time in the world,"Rebekah smiled and closed the door behind her.

Ezekiel shook his head and made his way back to his apartment.
