"What's our itinerary for today?"Ezekiel turned to her as she pulled open the curtains of their hotel room, revealing the sun rising over the horizon and a change in view.
It was exactly what they needed.
She turned her body to face him.
"Do you hear it?"she questioned back and pointed to her ears.
His brows furrowed in confusion before his ears caught on the sounds of squeals and laughters from the carnival behind their hotel.
"We're going to live our lives,"she said.
"And we're not gonna hold back, got it? It's about us now,"she pointed at him.
His lips curled.
"Okay,"he nodded in agreement.
"Which means I don't wanna hold back either,"she muttered before she moved and straddled him on the bed, leaned down to the distance between them.
She wanted to stop this from hurting her, but he was right there and there was nobody that would be in the way of them.
Even if for just a moment, she had him right here with her.
Ezekiel pulled away and shook his head but she placed a finger on his lips.
"Just live in the moment of it,"she whispered.
Live in the moment.
His hand cupped the side of her face and he leaned up. He pulled her to lay down on the bed and topped her with a knee between her thighs.
"Are you sure?"he questioned.
He was afraid of hurting her again. He hated it.
"Shut up and kiss me,"she said.
She wrapped her arms around his neck as he pulled her top off.
"We got all day."

It felt like he was finally able to be what he always was beyond the Hybrid face and immortality - a teenager. 
Ezekiel glanced down as the itch started to settle in his throat and his mind was going crazy thinking of blood.
He usually had better control of it.
"What's wrong?"Andrea questioned.
"I haven't drank the past two days,"he said.
"Shit,"she muttered and glanced around.
"Why didn't you drink?"she scolded.
He glared at her.
"Oh come on, I'm a thousand years old. Vampires forget too,"he scoffed.
