"Okay, you have to understand. I only know what I've picked up over the years and I don't know what's true and what's not true,"Rose said.

Adela took a seat on the armchair that Damon stood behind.

"That's the problem with all of this vampire crap, but Klaus I know is real,"she turned to each of them.

"Who is he?"Elena frowned, sitting beside Stefan on the couch.

The big, bad Klaus Mikaleson who wants her.

"He's one of the originals. He's a legend,"Damon said.

"He's one of the first generation of vampires,"Stefan added on.

"Like Elijah?"Elena turned to them.

"No, Elijah was the Easter Bunny compared to Klaus,"Rose corrected.

"He's a foot soldier. Klaus is the real deal."

"Klaus is known to be the oldest,"Stefan said.

"No, Klaus is actually the middle child,"Adela corrected.

"But they're all the first generations. The difference between them and Klaus is that Klaus is stronger,"she explained.

"He's not just any vampire."

"So, you're saying the strongest and one of the oldest vampire in the history of time is coming after me?"Elena summarized.

"Yes,"Rose said while Stefan answered completely opposite.

"What they're saying is, I mean, if what she's saying is true-"

"Which it is-"

"And you're not just saying this so we don't kill you,"Damon turned to Rose with a warning glare.

"Which I'm not,"she said.

"Then we're looking at a solid maybe."

"Look, Elijah's dead, right? No one else even knows that you exist,"Stefan grabbed Elena's hand in reassurance and comfort.

"No, we think he's dead. You don't just stake an Original vampire and expect them to stay dead, Stefan,"Adela frowned and scoffed.

"They're the Originals for a reason,"she said.

"You're gonna scare her,"Damon gripped his sister's shoulders and dug his thumbs into her back.

"Ow! Cut it out,"she turned and glared at him.

"It's the truth. That's the story they say,"she shrugged.

"Look, I've never even met anyone who's laid eyes on him,"Stefan turned to them.

"I mean, we're talking centuries of truth mixed with fiction,"he said.

"We don't know what's real. For all we know, he could be some stupid bedtime story."

"He's real,"Adela nodded.

"Have you seen him?"Damon questioned and turned to her.

"She's right. Klaus is real and he doesn't give up. If he wants something, he gets it. If you're not afraid, then you're an idiot,"Rose folded her arms.

"She's right,"Adela said.

"Alright, we're shaking. You've made your point,"Damon rolled his eyes.

Elena grabbed her bag and stood up from the couch.

"Where are you going?"Adela frowned.

Elena turned to them.

"School... I'm late,"she said.
