"Oh, brother,"Adela called out in a sing-song voice as she walked back into the house after a long night at the Mystic Grill.

Damon blurred toward her and wrapped a hand around her neck, pinning her against the wall of the boarding house. She turned to his arm and sunk her fangs into it.

"Ouch,"he frowned and pulled his hand away from her as the wound healed.

"Hello, Damon,"she smiled.

"What are you doing here?"he questioned.

"I got bored of traveling,"Adela shrugged and folded her arms, looking around the house.

"Where's Stefan?"she glanced behind her brother.

"This is so not a good time for you to come back,"he said.

"Why not? Where's Zack?"she frowned.

"I killed him,"Damon shrugged.

"You're insane,"Adela scoffed.

"The Founder's Council knows about vampires and they're prepared to kill. Stefan's on edge ever since he got human blood and he's in the cellar,"Damon explained.

"I can't worry about Stefan and worry about you bringing attention to yourself,"he pointed at her.

"I'll behave, I promise,"she rolled her eyes.

"Tell me everything. What did I miss?"she questioned.

"I'm gonna go,"a girl said behind him and approached them.

Adela's fangs revealed themselves and her eyes turned red as blood as she blurred toward the girl and wrapped her hand around her neck.

She pinned her against the wall and hissed.

"You dare show your face after what you've done to my brothers,"she held the girl against the wall.

"Ella, let her go,"Damon called out.

"But it's Katherine,"Adela growled.

He blurred toward her and pulled her off of the girl, throwing her aside. Adela hit the wall and groaned.

"Her name is Elena and she's human,"Damon said with a glare.

"Why does she look like her?"she questioned and pointed at the girl coughing.

"I don't know..."

"This is your sister?"Elena questioned, rubbing her neck.

"This is Adela... We call her Ella."

"Is she your girlfriend or Stefan's?"Adela folded her arms.

"None of your business,"Damon answered.

"Stefan's,"Elena said.

"She still has you both wrapped around her finger,"Adela scoffed and examined the girl from top to bottom.

"You look just like her... Minus the fangs and the charms,"she shook her head.

"I really should go,"Elena cautiously headed for the door with her eyes avoiding Adela's.

Adela headed down to the cellar and glanced into the little window on the locked door.

"Stefan,"she called out.

He glanced up at her and stood up from the ground he sat on.

"You're back,"he said.

"I am,"she smiled.

"You're gonna me okay, Stef. You got through this before,"she reassured.

"Lexi was there to help me, and now Lexi's gone."
