So, Funny Story Guys

There are more students scattered about now and by the looks on their faces you're guessing Papa doesn't usually roam the school often.

"I was on my way to see Sister Imperator but she can wait" he waves his hand like he's shooing a fly.
You follow him into the courtyard, to the right side if you keep walking behind the courtyard is the gymnasium, you can tell its a newer building. Further out, directly in front are where the greenhouses are, all concealed by large hedges and gates. The courtyard is massive on its own with a fountain in the middle, students come to study in the sun or relax.
You follow Papa walking off to the left, hands clasped behind him, he stands aside for you next to an arch way made of hedges. You walk through and immediately get a whiff of blossoming flowers.
"Delightful, sì?" He smiles walking through.

You both wander through for a bit enjoying the different scents, you listen amused while he hums softly, checking the soil here and there by diping his fingers in the earth and then rubbing the soil between them.
"Earth give us the ability to sow and harvest".
He runs his fingers along some leaves. "Without Water nothing would survive".
He stops to smell some orchids. "Air is no less important than water". He turns to you.
"Fire give us warmth, light and protection. They are pure nature and magic". He smiles warmly at you.
"Quintessence embodies spirit and acts as bridge between body and soul" he pauses. "Very powerful" he mutters quietly "and very helpful" he smiles.

Papa points to a sitting area surrounded by fauna, "Ah! Look, that is where Terzo has his Gatherings" he chuckles. "You know about those?" You ask shocked.
"Of course we know what the future Anti Pope gets up to" he's still chuckling.
"But he's under age" you whisper.
"Yes, but it's better he does it here then off grounds, much safer".
You nod. He turns to look at you "don't tell him I said that".
"Ok" you giggle.

He stops and watches you for a moment. "Are you still scared?".
You take a deep breath in having calmed down considerably.
"No" you smile.
"Good, good" he nods. "The gardens are a great source of comfort, most students don't come in here, I'm not sure why" he ponders for a moment. "Well, not unless Terzo has invited them" he chuckles.

"I must get back to Sister Imperator, I'm sure she will be livid by now" he sighs.
"I'm sorry for taking up your time" you mumble.
"Nonsense" he waves your apology away "Anything to get me out of meetings with her" he grins at you. "Have a pleasant day child" not lingering any more he turns and walks off.

You wander towards the seating area and sit cross legged ontop of one of the seats. You sit back and close your eyes soaking in the newly risen sun.

You hear the crunching of foot steps on the gravel getting closer. Ugh, go away, go away, go away.
"Hello". You peek an eye open at the voice, "Terzo?" Both eyes snap open, you look around. "Where's Emily?".
"Who?" He laughs. You roll your eyes.

"Primo told me you were here" he mentions as your eyes follow him taking a seat beside you.
"Your brothers are considerably a lot less idiotic then you" you say narrowing your eyes at him. What does he want?.

"Ouch" he opens his mouth feigning shock.
You watch him for a moment watching you. "Spit it out already" you huff.
"Satan almighty, okayyy" he puts his hands up in defence.
"Cumulus and C mentioned what happened last night, I wanted to check that you were ok". He mumbles quickly.

"Checking on your flock are we Mr future Anti Pope?" You say with a whole lot of sarcasm.
"You're part of my flock?" He asks grinning widely.
"Uh..." you stumble.
He laughs, "Well, Emily certainly isn't".
You snort with laughter.

"But seriously?" He looks at you.
"It just a lot to process" you mumble looking at your boots.
"Cumulus feels really bad, you should talk to her.. When youre ready of course".
You're eyes dart up to his, "I will." You pause, "that was a really grown up thing to say, Terzo!"
He puts a finger to his mouth "Shhh" he smiles "don't tell anyone!". He gets up asking, "see you later?". You nod.
