The Floor Is Moving

You glance around the corner of the hallway checking for Sisters or Cardinals but mostly - "Imperminator isn't around, come on".
Copia snorts "Stop, you peaked at Imperasquatch".
"Damn it".
He grabs your hand in his and steers you away from the dorm rooms.

You lift his arm up and check his watch, "We missed lunch" you say shocked thats its dinner time already. "We were a bit busy" he winks at you.

Terzo is at the entryway of the cafeteria, he turns and sees you both. A massive grin paints his face when he notices your hands.
You let go of Copia and walk up to Terzo giving him a big hug "oh!"
"You're not in trouble are you?" You ask.
Shock wearing off "no he was too scared to tell anyone" he rubs your back. "Thank you" you mumble.

"Ugh get a room" Emily walks past pretending to vomit, you ignore her squeezing him tighter.

"Are you ok?" He asks. "Yep".
"Good, I can't breathe" he mutters. Copia laughs.
"Sorry" you mumble letting go.
"Holy shit Terzo you need to get that looked at" you grab his hand that is bruised.
"It's fine, Keanes face is worse" he chuckles walking over to Copia.

"Finally!" Terzo punches him in his arm "You grew some balls!" He laughs.
You roll your eyes at them and walk ahead into the cafeteria.

When you and Cumulus get back to your dorm room, as soon as she shuts the door she asks about earlier.
"Sooooo?" She's grinning like a maniac.
"Yes, it's official now" you laugh rolling your eyes.
"Finally, you two have been making eyes at each other the moment you got here" she says
"We have not!"
"You absolutely have" she laughs

Saturday afternoon in your dorm with Cumulus you open the ritual book writing down the rest of the symbols and words in your workbook waiting for Terzos party to begin. Your eyes constantly looking at one symbol in particular for some reason.

Cumulus is in the bathroom, door open adding another 5 cans of hairspray to her hair. "I hope no one lights up around you, you'll explode" you say glancing up at her. She chuckles.

"How was practice?" You ask not looking up.
Cumulus groans. "Terzo has this stupid idea about using a Kazoo-"
There's a soft knock on your door.
"Come on" Cumulus takes your pen, you glare at her putting the book under your bed, you hold your workbook in your arms "don't bring it" Cumulus raises an eyebrow at you.
"Fine". You put it behind your bedside table slamming it against the wall, you've taken to carrying it around so no one finds it.

You walk out with her, exiting the hallway your wrist is pulled back.
"Oh!"
Cumulus turns and smiles, she runs off to catch up with Sunshine and Cirrus.
You turn and Copia is there smiling at you. He moves closer leaning down and kisses you gently.
"Hello" you swoon. He chuckles holding his arm out.
"Let me walk you to your first party here".
You loop your arm around his.

You're surprised that the doors aren't locked. "Swiss, the master lock pick" Copia grins.
He holds the door open, once you're both through he places a hand on your lower back guiding you even though you know where to go.

You hear music immediately walking through the hedge arch. All the garden lights are on giving the place a magical glow.
Walking the winding path to the seating area, chattering and music growing as you go.

Terzo greets you both as you enter the little area, that is packed with students. "You made it! Thought you two decided on something else" he winks at you handing you a drink. "Enjoy" he bows deeply almost toppling over making you laugh.

"Youre here!" Cirrus takes your hand and spins you. "Sorry loverboy I'm stealing her". She drags you off giggling.
You're not sure how long it's been or how many drinks you've had but you feel the happiest you've felt in a long time.
You look around, people watching. Swiss is smoking something, he hands it to Rain and they end up in a fit of laughter, you chuckle at them.
Sodo is leaning backwards Terzo and Aether each pouring a drink into his mouth, you shake your head at them.
There's some that are slouched passed out already, couples making out. Mountain looks like he's talking to a tree, you tilt your head at him. Sunshine and Cirrus are dancing to the music along with some others. You look back around and spot Copia chatting with Terzo who has finished trying to drown Sodo. His eyes flicker over to you.
When did the garden lights get blurry?

Copia is standing in front of you, he crouches down to your level placing a hand on your knee. "You ok?"
You close your eyes and nod slowly.
He chuckles. Leans forward and kisses your forehead.
Terzo comes over, "I noticed you don't have a drink" he hands you a bottle.
"Having fun?" He asks
"This is great" you smile at him, he clinks his bottle with yours and saunters off again.

Rain comes over offering Copia a smoke, you watch as he stands up takes a couple drags of it and hands it back to Rain, his eyes never leaving yours.

You avert your eyes having a drink and looking up at the sky, a gasp escapes your mouth, all the stars are out, it looks beautiful.
Copia sits down next to your legs leaning his head against your closest thigh looking up at the sky with you. You start running your fingers through his hair.
"La mia stella è molto più bella" he says quietly.

"Tequila!" Cumulus sings handing you a shot, you get up and dance with her and Cirrus laughing and drinking shots for a bit.

Copia comes up behind you holding you around your waist. You swivel in his arms to look at him. You groan. "The world just spun with me" you slur scrunching  your eyes closed.
He chuckles, "you need to go to bed". He looks around while you hang on for dear life.
"Cumulus?" He shouts. You look behind him, a big mess of Cumulus' blonde hair tangled and rolling around arms and legs everywhere entwined with someone else, you start cackling "found her".
He turns around and groans "Satan help me".
"Ok you, let's go, can you walk?" He tries prying your arms off him.
"No! I'll fall!"
"You won't fall, i've got you"

He walks you through the winding path leading back to the courtyard. "I love you" you mumble, he stops and looks at you, "What?", "aaaaand I love Cumulus and Cirrus and Sunshine" you burp "oops". Copia laughs.
"And i love Terzo, like a big brother, aaaannd Swiss and Mountian - he was talking to a tree did you see him?" You giggle
"Shhh" he tries to stifle his own giggles as you both enter the building.
"Sodo! I love that fiery little guy and Aether and Rainy boy". You groan, "The floor is moving".

"No it's not, you are" Copia chuckles.
"Oh"

You look at the stairs "think we could fly up?"
Copia Shakes his head chuckling

"You need to be quiet now cara"

"Ok, shhh" you tell him,
He snorts.

You stop and look at him, "I don't know any cara, where is she?" You look around.
Hes shaking silently with laughter now, "it's an Ita- ah spaghetti term of affection".
"Awww that's cute" you wrap your arms around him hugging him tightly.
He has to drag you to your room, prying you off him, he finds your pyjamas, hands them to you, opens the bathroom door. "Get changed, i'll be right here".

You get changed somehow, your pyjamas are a simple crop top and flowy comfortable pants.
You walk into the door, "I can't open the door" you whisper loudly. Copia snickers "you need to unlock it" he whispers back.
"Oh"
You stumble out the door, he catches you looking down at you his eyes widen and makes a strangled noise. He holds you for a moment. "You ok?" You ask tilting your head.
"Mhm"

"Come on, in you get" he lets go and walks over to your bed.
"No goodnight kiss" you pout?
He walks back to you slowly, cupping your face in his hands, you wrap your arms around his neck bringing a hand up behind his head pushing him to you, standing on your toes, your lips crash together like you're savouring the taste of water in the desert, breathing heavily, hearts pounding and suddenly you're up against the wall, he pulls away resting his forehead on the wall next to you pinning you there, feeling his body against yours.
"You need to stop" he breathes.
He moves backwards watching you. He points to your bed.

You fiddle with the hem of your crop top. He walks forward again realising what you're about to do, but it's off in one swift movement.
He groans, drinking you in for a minute before averting his eyes and walking forward holding you.
You feel his breath on your neck, his lips brush and press gently, slowly up your neck as he mumbles, "mi stai rendendo difficile resisterti" .
With one arm around your back he takes his other arm out of his denim jacket, swapping arms carefully so youre not uncovered and taking his other arm out. He swings his jacket around you purposefully caressing some exposed skin as he buttons it all the way up.

"You are way too drunk cara" he whispers kissing your head. "You need to sleep". He pulls you over to your bed. You get in and he pulls the blanket over you kneeling down. You lift the collar of the jacket snuggling into it closing your eyes. "I had fun" you mumble.
"Me too" he kisses your forehead.
