Zenith

You both end up at the archway that leads to back to the courtyard, you poke your head out but don't see anyone at first.

"-always get what i want" Emily says from the darkness.
"Oh fucking hell" you mumble. You tell Copia to stay there by placing a hand on his chest.
You walk forward.
"Leave her alone Emily" you say walking towards them.
"No she's a fucking boyfriend stealer".
She growls
"No one stole anyone, he broke up with you". You say getting closer to Astrid who looks like she might cry.
She looks at you "Sadie and Mira left and I told Terzo I was going to bed too and she just came out of no where" she mumbles.

"Emily what do you want?" You ask.
"I want you two out of my school, I'll be telling Imperator about these little parties" she folds her arms.
"This isnt your school, Papa and Secondo already know about the parties." you mention in frustration.
"They what?!" Comes Terzos confused voice from the hedge walking over with Copia. The Ghouls stay where they are but all their eyes are glowing.

You make a move to step closer to Emily, Astrid grabs you but you shake her off.
"Seriously what is going on?"
Emily's hands ball up into fists, "It's your fault he broke up with me!" She squeals at you.
"No one can make Terzo do anything but Terzo" you scoff.
"No, you, you..have a weird effect on him, and youre doing the same thing to Copia. Ever since you got here things have gone to shit".
She's breathing rapidly, getting angrier and angrier.

"Im sorry your hurt but I don't make any decisions for any of them". You sigh.
"This needs to stop, you're acting like a child". Copia says stepping up next to you.
She looks from Copia to you "you see, you say jump, they all say how high".
"Is that what youre getting from this?".
The alcohol leveling up your confidence and attitude.
You look back at Terzo who has Astrids hand in his, "Terzo, jump in the fountain".
"Fuck off"
You look back Emily and shrug, "Was worth a shot, thought I had some magical powers the way youre talking".

"Youre a stupid fucking bitch, go to hell!" Emily hisses at you. "Think you're so fucking funny, you don't deserve shit, no one wanted you before, no one wants you now and they are all going to use you and leave you because you're trash".

You didn't mean it, you'd rather it hadn't happend but an uncontrollable burst of anger caused you to clench your fist, you changed your mind as it connected with her face with a hard crack.
You pull your hand back cradling it as she covers her nose with her hands "Fuck Emily, I'm so sorry" you say through clenched teeth. Copia is at your side checking your hand.
"Fuck you!" she cries as she runs inside.

"What is wrong with her?!" Terzo mumbles making sure you're ok.
You check if Astrid is ok. "If she's going to Imperator you need to get back to your dorm now" she says hugging you.
"Shes right, let's go" Copia grabs you by your arm. They watch you leave.

You stand in the door way of your dorm, "I'm in so much shit, why does she hate me so much?"
He wraps you up in his arms walking together into your room.
"It's got nothing to do with you", he let's go to shut the door.

Sighing you take his jacket off and hold it out for him. "I guess this is goodnight".
He takes it but throws it on your bed walking over to you.

"She was right about one thing" Copia mentions. You raise a questioning brow at him.
"You do have an effect on me". He cups your face with his hands moving them slowly back, his fingers lacing through your hair. You think about joking that you should have asked him to jump in the fountain but he's kissing you and your brain has turned to mush helping you ignore the pain in your hand.

He rests his forehead on yours, "What did you want to tell me before cara?".
Taken aback by the question you weren't expecting, youre silent for a moment thinking about what he meant.
"Oh That!...I... Um.. That you... I mean me.. That i really...-"
He moves his head back grinning watching you struggle, finally letting out a laugh.

"Stupido!" You whack him playfully, leaning in and kissing him furiously. 
He chuckles as you pull back, "I'm so in love with you" he says quietly.
What!!
Your breath catches in your throat. Did you just hear that correctly?
He watches you process what he just said smiling at you.

A gentle knock on the door startles you out of your thoughts. "Get in there" you whisper aggressively shoving Copia in the direction of the bathroom.

"Oh hi Astrid" you whisper.
"I did tell her to leave it" Cumulus mumbles from behind, standing with Cirrus and Sunshine.
"We saw Emily go back to her room, you're safe....for tonight anyway". She smiles.
"Thanks, I....think?"
"Let's go" Cumulus ushers everyone, "Isn't this your room?" Astrid asks confused.
"Not tonight it's not" she winks at you, making you hold in a laugh by covering your mouth with your hand.

You shut the door and Copia comes wandering out of the bathroom holding several cans of hairspray.
"How many of these do you need?!" He asks confused.
You burst into laughter as they start sliding out of his arms rolling on the floor.
"Ah shit!" he mumbles helplessly watching them fall trying to catch them but just making the rest fall. You can't help by laugh more at his flailing arms.
You help him pick them up, dumping them on Cumulus' bed, "They're not mine!" You tell him.
"I knew that" he mumbles smiling.

You glance at the clock, 2.30am and you're not tired.
You glance back at Copia who's watching you like a hawk.
"Tired?"
"No"
"I am, goodnight!" He walks towards the door.
"Hey!" You grumble. He turns to look at you smiling.
You take a few steps closer and jump on him, he stumbles backwards but he has a hold of you.
Wrapping your legs tightly around him, arms around his neck you groan at his mischievously cocky grin.

Your eyes lock together. You kiss, its wild and desperate.

The kind of kiss that leads to hands exploring bodies fumbling in the dark, heavy breathing, clothes scattered on the floor, mumbling i love you's and reaching zenith.
