"Well, I'm finished, I'll check our dorm" Cumulus sighs. She gets up and leaves

"Did you yell at her?" Terzo says still glaring at Copia.
"No! ...Not..really?" Copia says doubting himself now.
"She was upset becuase she .." he lowers his voice "she punched her" he picks his voice back up "and i said well Emily shoved you in a fountain, cut your head open and laughed about it" he raises his arms in confusion and drops them on the table, he pushes his breakfast away.
"Y/n said that wasn't the point, asked why I was angry at her, I said i wasnt, I was angry for her and she said I didn't need to be and walked off" he groans into his hands.

"She clearly cares about what she did" Cirrus says. "But Emily has been such a bitch, why does she give a shit?" Sodo asks just as confused.
"Because she's a nicer than you" Rain scoffs.
"She has a lot of attitude but i doubt she'd want to actually hurt anyone" Swiss says looking at Copia. He nods.

Cumulus walks back to the table breathing rapidly "not in the dorms and I checked the common room on the way down" she shrugs.
Copia slams the spoon he'd been twiddling in his fingers down on the table, gets up and walks out of the cafeteria.

Terzo looks at Aether. "She can't have gone far" Aether says getting up. Terzo walks after Copia, Aether turns the corner to the courtyard.
He wanders around deciding to check the gardens.

He stops for a moment listening. Birds, fountain, wind, leaves rustling and...Giggling?
He follows the sound and finds y/n in a dusty corner he didn't realize existed, feeding some rats.
They scamper at the sound of his feet.
"Awh" y/n frowns.
"Sorry" Aether says watching them squirm back into the crack in the wall.
"Terzo sent out a search party" he chuckles sitting down next to her.
"You ok?"
"Yep" she nods
He raises a brow shaking his head "such a bad liar", she has a tell, but he's not going to let her know what it is.

She sighs. "I feel like shit for punching Emily, I know she hurt me but that's not my fault. I've never done anything like that before" she grabs a stick and starts flicking dirt around.
"You should see the bruise, I feel awful, I'm not proud of myself" she shrugs.
"What does doing something like that say about me as a person?" She hangs her head.
"And then C gets mad because I feel bad for hurting her..... jerk", she throws the stick at the wall.

"He's not a jerk"
"No, he's not"

"I think that after everything she's said and done you're entitled to want to punch her"
Y/n looks at him.
"I said entitled to want to not do, but shit happens and we react to things" he shrugs.
"I think that the fact you feel guilty about it says how much of a decent person you are" he moves closer bringing her into a hug.
"I also think that C cares about you, a lot, and can't figure out why you'd want to be kind to someone who has been out to get you from the begining because he can't stand seeing you hurt, especially the way she hurt you" he pauses. "We all care about you, youre one of us now".

Y/n sniffs, "what the fuck Aether?" She says wiping tears. He chuckles.

"Out you come" Aether says looking over at the corner, causing y/n to look up in confusion.
"Should've known" Copia says smiling weakly stepping out of hiding,  hands in his pockets.
"How long have you been there?" Y/n asks shocked.
"From the moment you started spilling" Aether chuckles getting up.

Aether pats Copia on the shoulder as he walks off.

Copia moves forward a step, y/n looks up and reaches her arms up to him. He laughs sitting down next to her, he wraps an arm around her as she scoots closer leaning on his chest.
"Can't just be alone without everyone going crazy?" She laughs.
"No way" he kisses her on her head.

Copia sighs feeling guilty about what he overheard, "I'm sor-"
"Shh"

They sit there quietly for a while, quietly enough for the rats to come back out.
Copia watches as y/n leans forward feeding the rats crumbs from her pocket? Always with the snacks. What is she doing? He laughs to himself.

She starts speaking in a soft high pitch voice to them that makes him just want to kiss her.
She glances at him, "Look" she points at the grey one , "That's Primo"... She points at the brown one "that's Secondo".
Copia has to stop himself from laughing so he doesn't scare the rats "let me guess" he says pointing at the black one, "Terzo?".
She shakes her head, brows furrowed, "No, don't be weird, that's Kevin" she says matter of fact.
"Of course" Copia nods snickering wishing he could burst into laughter, instead he turns her face to his gently, keeping his hand on the side of her face and kisses her.

Her lips are soft and warm, when she leans into him and places her hand on his it sends sparks of electricity through his skin.
He pulls back slowly worried about sparking something else.
"What was that for?" She smiles at him, her eyes are sparkling.
Copia shrugs. "Ti amo e basta", he smiles knowing this will annoy her.
She raises a brow at him narrowing her eyes as she does making him chuckle. "I just love you".
Her eyes soften immediately. "Ti..Amo?" She repeats asking. Copia nods smiling.
"Ti amo ....uh... too?" she grins. Copia can't help it he bursts into laughter and the rats scatter.
He takes a couple breaths, "Anch'io ti amo" he corrects her once he's stoped laughing.
"Well, that's just confusing" she mumbles smiling.
