Chapter 11

Bright ask "And....You're really ok with that?". Win answered "Whether I'm ok with it or not, it's the way it has to be because that's what you want. You made it clear several times that you don't like me and want anything to do with me other than splitting financial responsibility at the moment I can't help you out much. And understand that It's not what I want, but you're serious about what you said. One of us has to bend and compromise things. So I'll bend and back off if that's makes you happy". Bright was  confused with himself, he was wanting that but he can't deny the fact in last few days he missed Win. Now he felt more bad to hear that from Win mouth. He knew he was pretty harsh on the boy before, especially about taking care of their future child. Win continue again in his low voice "It's not like... I've given up. I still feel the way I used to feel for you, but I'll do anything what you want me to do". Bright  sigh heavily asking "Win you know I'm eight years older than you and had a stable work". Win replied shrugging "That's quite the a gap, but I'm already looking for another job and I'll do whatever I can for you and our baby. I care about you both. And I want things to work out with you in some way".

Bright still didn't wanted to have a relationship with Win nor he wanted to depend on a guy younger than him. Even Bright wasn't interested in relationship even with someone mature and older than him. He was already having alot of things on his plate currently. But he can't deny that Win was cute and charming and sexy and hot seemingly responsible kind of guy with lots of stamina. Bright shift on his seat and cleared his throat, his grip tighten on steering wheel as he started explaining "Look Win, I can manage everything on my own, financially and physically. I promise I'll give our baby a good life. It won't make a difference whether you get another job or not because honestly I know how busy a student can get. Trust me I was a student once and I could not ever imagined myself being in your shoes, wanting to settle assignment, study for finals... Then preparing to be a Daddy. You don't have to necessarily feel sympathy towards me and play your part by working hard. I really don't want to burden you with extra responsibility". Win seems to be taken aback as he ask in amused tone "Bright are you serious?!..... don't get me wrong I understand your concern and I know you're very much capable of giving our baby good life but I do want to work hard and provide for my baby and you as well". Bright question "Why? Why you're so adamant to take care of us?".

Win was awfully stubborn and Bright never met someone like him in his entire life. Win flatly answer without skipping a beat direct and straight forward without beating around the bush "Because I like you in romantic way". Bright immediately pressed the gas pedal in utter shock hearing Win words. Thankfully the street was empty and there were no vehicles around. He looked at Win with wide eyes as they both look at each other in the eyes for few a moment. Bright suddenly came out of his shock when he heard car horn from behind. He cleared his throat and started driving again. Though Bright felt his brain just exploded with Win confession, he stayed silent for a while but after thinking it through, Bright decided that he will back off his demands just a bit for now as he stated "Okay. Let's start out with getting to know each other". Frankly Bright's didn't have any deep feelings for Win currently, other than the guy is a good fuck, But still he wasn't going to settle in a relationship with someone so young. Love was one thing but Bright believed it's not the only thing he'd like to get settled for. Still he was wrong for pushing Win away entirely like that not to forget the  baby inside his tummy also belongs to Win.

Win ask in amused tone "You're ok with that?". And Bright could hear the hope in Win voice. Bright  rolled his eye and answered "Yeah. Look I'm still not ready for a relationship but We can't behave like enemies or strangers if you like me that much. Also I don't want a stranger or my enemy raising my baby and I'm sure you don't want that either. So let's give this a chance and get to know each other. We'll see how things go from here and if I can actually stand you. Then I'll think about you". In the end Bright just smirk at Win, who cutely pouted and crossed his arms on his chest with a huff. But Bright couldn't keep his smirk for long because he burst out laughing at Win. The boy really look disgustingly cute at the moment. When Bright finally stopped laughing Win stated "I'll show you and make You fall in love with me by the end of this!" Bright giggle at Win confidence muttering "I will look forward to see... how you make me".

Liking Win was one thing, but loving and falling in love with Win was something else entirely. Bright doubted Win would be able to make him fall in love, but he will let Win enjoy his fantasies for now. When they arrived at the destination Win got out of the car. He thank Bright for the ride then took two steps back and pause on his spot looking like he wanted to say something but wasn't sure if he should ask or not. Bright raised an eyebrow with slight smile his silent way of asking the young man to spill it. Win asked nervously "Can I come see you at Cafe, later?". Bright slowly nods saying "Yeah, I guess you can... But Aren't you going to be tired after work? Cafe isn't the best place to spend the  little free time you get". Win replied "For me it is... because my baby's Mommy work there". Bright cheeks turned into a deep shade of bright red. He wasn't expecting Win to boldly flirt with him like that. He began to wonder if he challenge the wrong dude. Win cleared his throat after watching Bright cheeks painted in red saying in soft tone "Don't worry about me... I'll be fine... I just wanted to see if you are ok ...I'll buy food or two if that will make you feel better".

Bright breath out "It's fine. You just paid for half for my appointment. I don't need to drain your money more. If you want to come by, you can. I won't be bothered". Win widely smile and teased again taking his step backwards "Bye Mommy. Daddy will come to you later", then he wink at Bright to open his mouth hung till the ground, making him utterly shock and speechless. Win wave his hand smiling widely at Bright, in return Bright too wave his hand a little less excitedly. Win once again turn and ran off in the direction of his work. At least Win was easy enough guy to please. Bright just had to see how much fortitude he had while dealing with a bunny guy who is having bright, bubbly and naughty personality.

As soon as Win was out of his sight Bright drive towards his Sunshine Cafe and  upon entering his two nosy friend took him behind the counter, gave him chair to sit plus handing him a glass of orange juice then sat either side of Bright to interrogate. Bright sighed already knowing both were probably going to ask about his 'date' with Win. But he was too tired to convince his friends that he wasn't went on any date with Win at the hospital but anyways. Mew ask first "So? How did it go? You still feeling ok and everything?". Bright answered "Yeah. Today the morning sickness wasn't so bad, and the doctor said everything looked good Plus baby is doing well". Then Singto ask "Did Win came?". Bright explained "Yes he did. He also paid half of the fees. He was really mature about it". Singto hummed while playfully smirking at Bright teasing "Feeling a little more at ease about your baby's Daddy". In return Bright just rolled his eyes as he stated "For now, yeah. At least at the moment though. Win seems very serious for baby and I appreciate that. He was really understanding about how I felt as well. I decided to give him a chance even though I'm not ready for a relationship and I already cleared to him. But We're still going to try and get to know each other". Mew asking in amused tone "Really?, I'm glad you're ready to try with him atleast".

Singto added "Next time If he comes to our Cafe again, don't brush him off on me anymore. I'll take care of Krist happily, but Win only comes all the way here just for you and not me". Bright chukled and sigh "I know, I won't do that anymore. He's mine to handle now". Singto and Mew both smirk devilishly and  did a thumbs up Bright could help but again rolled his eyes as he went to prepare himself before he start his work. Mew went back to the kitchen and Singto went to attend customer. Both friends were worried for Bright's first doctor appointment with Win. Mew was a bit more skeptical of Win like Bright and Singto was really the only one that easily came to like the guy after first time meeting and trust him since then. Singto really felt Win is a good person and just perfect for Bright who would do anything to keep him happy and also satisfied as they all know each other's very well including their high se.x drive and Singto was rarely went wrong about people so it was one of the reason that his words had affected  Bright so much.
