Chapter 22

Bright couldn't stop thinking about Win after their study session, he realize the boy is really is a nice person which he hated to admit, but he had to give credit where credit was due. Win was fast learner, intelligent, responsible, caring and the most that Win likes him alot and seems genuinely interested, the way he kissed him and bare with his mood swings frankly Bright wouldn't have expected that he'd be able to handle him in a way. Win wasn't at all hard to look after either, whatever he feed him in dinner, he was greatful. His down to earth personality had been what had attracted Bright the most. He just never thought he'd find such a nice guy behind the cute bunny face and somewhat ruined his life by having one night stand. Bright was used to dealing with pretty jerks, considering how often he used to have one night stand before Win all through his life. He was more and more glad as the time he spent with Win. The young boy really caught up with him, his charm and dedication towards his commitment. As Bright thought about Win, he got a funny feeling in his chest, one that he haven't felt for anyone in a long time and one he'd tried to suppress for every other person. His affection for Win was starting to span beyond platonic feelings, he like Win touch, the way he riled him up and how he affect his hormones, turning him into a completely different person, he can be himself, without being getting judge. He knew he already started to like Win to some extent even though he was telling himself that he wouldn't fall for the young boy because he still didn't trust his future to Win by any means,

Its been two days since he saw Win, knowing Win had his Econometrics test, Bright was sure tonight after work Win would definitely come to meet him in Cafe. Bright had just reached to his Cafe and soon started helping Mew and Singto preparing for opening hours in the early morning. He was already having a headache for a large part of last night resulting he was already exhausted and his stomach wasn't particularly happy either since the early morning. Mew and Singto both had expressed concern about Bright's health many times during the day but the stubborn pregnant boy had waved his two friends off and continue working just to let the time pass atleast until he gets to see Win again . Bright sit and took his rest whenever he felt needed to, but it wasn't like he could just magically become to feel better when he was having morning sickness and exhausting day. His dizziness kicked in as he was checking which bottles of drinks which were placed on the lower shelf. He gripped onto the edge so tightly his knuckles were turning white. The world suddenly began to spin around him, so he tried closing his eyes in hopes that it would help it go away, but instead he started feeling lightheaded as if all his strength, sucked up and drained out of his body. This was definitely not normal he called out weakly in panick "Sing!". Thankfully Sing was close by, he frown looking at his friend and ask "Brighty What's up?", Sing voice sounding distant despite he was close enough to him Bright mumble "I feel dizzy...Help..... I don't want to di".

Bright vaguely felt someone catching him, but he blacked out before he could say anything more or hear Singto's response. Sing had instantly rushed to his side to catch Bright before he fell and hit the floor, hugging him close just as Bright lost his balance and passed out in Singto's embrace. Singto scream "Mew, Come here fast, Bright passed out", As soon as Mew came out of kitchen after hearing Singto he rush to them both asking "Jesus, What on earth happened here?". Singto explain "Bright told me he was dizzy then he passed out". Mew stated "We need to take him to the hospital". Singto question "How can we close the Cafe there's still some customers?". Mew sighed, brushing his fingers through his hair. This was definitely an emergency , but closing the Cafe in mind day, when customer were still having their food. Mew pulled out his phone, dialing Gulf number while explaining "I'm calling Gulf. His works just finished a few minutes before. He might be able to take him. If not, we sure as hell are taking him to the hospital and closing the Cafe". Singto ask "Should I call Win, but he must be in the middle of his important test". Mew nodded, then walked into the kitchen so he could talk to Gulf.

Singto pulled  Bright's phone out of his apron pocket. He quietly apologized to Bright knowing the other didn't like people rummaging through his phone, at all, but this was an emergency, and Singto didn't had his phone close at the moment. He unlocked Bright's phone, grateful that the other had trusted him enough to tell him know the combination in case of emergencies like this. He dialed Win number and paced back and forth. Finally, the other line connected. Win was in the middle of his test but when he saw Bright's name flashing on his phone screen he felt his heartbeat rose, Bright had never called him at this hour and he wouldn't when he know that he's in the middle of his test. For some reason Win felt like there's something absolutely wrong, he immediately gets up and passed his half written paper to his professor who just narrowed his eyes at Win in silent but took it anyway without any comment. As soon as Win rushed out of the room, he picked up the call "Hey, B.. Bright....Are you alright ? is something wrong?". Singto quickly utter "Win... It's Sing .. Bright just passed out at work". Win froze for a moment, his heartbeat speed up more, as he already started running out of his university. He ask feeling panicked "A.....Are you serious?.... Oh God. Is he ok?... Has he woken up yet? Did he fall and hit anything?". Singto explain "No I was nearby so I saved him from falling, but he's still unconscious. Mew is calling his boyfriend right now, but one of us needs to take him to the hospital if his boyfriend can't. I wanted to let you know what was going on". Win inform "Okay.... I'll be there soon!". Singto question "Didn't you were in the middle of your test?".

Win snapped sounding more panicked by the second "That doesn't matter!, Bright is way more important to me. I'll be there soon. I'll go to the hospital too!". Singto muttered "Yeah...come soon we'll wait for you, ok?" Win breath out "Thanks". Win quickly hung up the phone after that and Singto stared Bright he smile knowing Bright is really lucky to find Win for himself. Now he just hoped Win doesn't take too long to get to their Cafe. Mew returned from the kitchen, walking over to Bright and check his forehead, with the back of his knuckles muttering "Bright doesn't have a fever, but he's sweating a bit". Singto question "What did Gulf said ... Is he coming?". Mew respond back "Yeah, he's on his way now. What about Win?". Singto replied "He's coming too". Mew nodded his head. Only a few minutes later, they met with panting Win. He must have run the entire rest of the way to to get here. Win quickly stride to passed out Bright's asking between catching his breath "Is he ok?".

Win was still breathless with all the running but he didn't care. He needed to be at Bright's side. He quickly knelt beside the chair, passed out Bright was seated, as he tightly grabs one of Bright's hand, Mew handed Win a glass of water, which Win took and gulped it down, thanking him afterward. Mew inform "My boyfriend will be here any second,  He's going to drive you you guys to the hospital". Win stated "I want to go too". Mew nods "Of course". Very soon Gulf stride inside the Cafe, where everyone was waiting for him, Gulf immediately announced to his friends including Win "My car's still on. Let's get him in", Mew pointed towards Win saying "Gulf, Win will go with you. He's the father of Bright's baby". Gulf nods at Win giving him small smile and Win quickly pulled Bright in bridal style from the chair with the help of Singto as they both followed Gulf to his parked car in the front of Sunshine Cafe. As soon as all four settled, Gulf muttered to his boyfriend "I'll keep you posted on what happens, ok?". Then he immediately started driving towards the hospital. Soon on the way Bright eyelids fluttered as he managed to open them, enough to get a blurry view of Win and Gulf in the front. He could vaguely hear Singto and Gulf talking, but he couldn't focus on what they were saying. His head still hurting very badly, and it felt comfortable to keep his eyes closed either.

Bright felt someone hugging him a little closer to his chest, but soon realize it none other that Win when he heard a fimilar murmuring sound telling him everything will be okay, not to worry, he'll be fine. Bright pushed his face in Win chest, taking deep breath inhaling the same cologne that becomes his favorite scent since last couple of days. He  wanted to tell Win, that he believes in him, everything is surely going to be ok and he didn't need to worry, but he was so tired and still feeling dizzy. Bright ended up losing consciousness again in Win's embrace. But when Bright woke up after four hours he was laying in a room with an IV in his arm. He groaned and looked around seeing Gulf and Win was seated nearby his bed. Bright noticed that Win's fingers was intertwined with his own and he looked like he might have been worried sick and also crying for his state. Bright weakly squeezed Win hand back, in attempt to comfort the young boy in some way. He really didn't like it when Win looked upset, specially because of him.
