Chapter 15

It was a peaceful night as per usual, there were not many people around the area and whether seems perfect compared to yesterday. Bright was waiting for Win to get off from his work, in his car which was parked outside his supermarket. After whatever happen in the morning, Bright knew Win won't visit him today in the Cafe, and since at this hour there were not many customers, so he decided to leave a bit early from his work and meet Win before he goes back home. Now that he realized that he overreacted in the morning and behave harshly with
the boy, but he's going to blame his pregnancy hormones. Win was looking nervous as hell he should have understand his situation but instead without thinking he just exploded like jealous wife, nahh it wasn't his fault, he's always been a sensible person and rarely behave rude to anyone, so whatever happens it was because of the baby that Win put inside his tummy. Bright placed his hand on his tummy and stated in his serious tone "You better be the best kid in the world Or I'm gonna remind you every day of your Mommy suffering because of you and Daddy". Then he smile at his tummy. As he concluded whatever happens it was all because of Win ... Fuck he was just so silly to blame himself all these time that he couldn't able to eat properly.

Thinking of Eating, Bright stomach suddenly grumble in hunger which is also the reason that kick in his nausea. The thought of snacking while waiting for Win does sounds like an good idea to him. Bright quickly dig into his bag and pulled out a bowl of strawberries, as he pops one into his mouth and moan in delight at the sweet taste which explodes in his entire mouth. Bright eats another one then one more. He was so lost in his strawberry that he lost the sight of Win, as he didn't paid attention to Bright's car and began to walk away. Thankfully Bright saw the guy leaving before it was too late. Win already started heading towards his apartment direction. When Bright realized that Win did not see him, he quickly step out of his car taking the bowl of strawberries in his hand rushing behind Win, but unfortunately before he called his name a girl walk up to Win and beat Bright by calling Win first. Bright stop on his track and frown at the young girl who just called for Win attention. Oh well, some people just were destined to interrupt other's life in every fucking au, note the sarcasm of pregnant person please.

Win turned to the source of sound that called his name, he was still back facing to Bright. Win smile at the girl and ask in his cheerful voice "Hey Zea, how are you? Did you came to shop here?". Zea shook her head giggling and replied in her cherry voice "Hello, Winnie. I came here to meet you?". Bright rolled his eyes and inwardly huff in annoyance watching how the young girl named Zea was blushing as soon as Win saw her. He understood that she might be another fan girl, who wants to date Win. Oh mother Goddess, Why he didn't know that the guy was a chick magnet. Win question Zea "Oh really?! is there anything urgent?". Zea suddenly shift on her legs as she hesitate before saying "Well... I was just wondering if... If you're free tomorrow after work?" Win repeated Zea 's last word in question "After work?". Zea nervously nods softly muttering "Umm it's weekend. We can go ...out for dinner.. just ...you and me".

Bright frown at the girl, he can see it took lot of courage to say that But.... Oh well tommorow he's busy too resting and chilling at home eating his everything favorite ... Very busy indeed!!. Win realize that maybe Zea wanted to go out on a date with him on because he always hinted him some of the other way that she got feeling for him but he tried his best not to give her any kind of false hope. Win quickly opened his mouth and said in apologetic voice "I'm sorry. Tommorow I'm busy after work. You know we have test next week I need to prepare for it. You know how strict our professor is". Zea nods her head pouting cutely then her expression changed into hopeful as she suddenly ask "Let's study together, we're having Econometrics test, that way you can teach me as well".

Bright felt really irritated to see how the little girl was persistent to spend time with Win. Win decide not to beat around the bushes anymore he stated in apologetic tone "Sorry I can't... I've to meet my partner too" after hearing Win words. Bright heart does a little flutter while on the other hand Zea stutter "Y.. Your P.. Partner?". Win nods and explain "Yeah, not many people know in our class but I already have someone... I like and recently things started going well between us", Zea muttered while thinking hard for a moment "I see... Well then... I'm sorry I ask but atleast we can do combine study before out test" Bright suddenly rolled his eyes she wasn't sorry at all, he can see that.

Win was quick to replied pretending to look embarrassed at the same time "Sorry Zea, I myself is freaking out for the test, I can't help you with Econometrics at all. I'm really Sorry. Please find someone else who can really help you". Zea took a step back muttering disappointed tone in her low voice "It's Okay, I'm sorry I asked, I'll go now". She turned and started walking away leaving Win to sigh hard, and look at the girl. He felt bad everytime to reject a sweet girls, they don't deserve rejection but he's too much invested in Bright and already rejected half of the world population just for Bright. Win muttered under his breath "Hope you don't take this rejection....too badly". Win sigh hard once again and was about to take a step when suddenly he heard his name being called once again.

Win turned around like a whiplash and saw Bright was standing just at the distance holding a bowl of strawberries in his hand. Win heart does a little jump when he saw Bright with slightly distorted image holding strawberry bowl in his hand. He pause for a moment, to actually find out that he's not dreaming, and Bright in front of his work place at this hour for real, he was utterly confused and stunned because he never thought Bright will ever come to meet him specially after what happened in the morning and second because of the obvious: with the strawberry bowl in his hands. Did Bright really think they can have a picnic at this hour in front of his work place..... He was suddenly too excited to see what happens next. Win smile saying "Hi, you're here..... with strawberries.... For me?". Huh, Bright was suddenly too embarrassed picturing himself, with a bowl full of strawberries in his hand in front of a supermarket. He chocked lightly causing Win to walk closer to Bright with a frown. He ask sounding worried "Bright, are you alright?!". Bright nods responding between light cough "Yes,.. Yes I'm fine. Can we talk". Win nods his head as Bright started walking towards his car parked and Win followed him like a lost puppy.

Once Win settled down on the passenger seat he wait for a minute in silence for Bright to start speaking but when he didn't said anything, Win ask pointing at the strawberry bowl "is this.. for me?". Bright squinted his eyes then shook his head. Win again ask "Then, is this your dinner, that you forgot to eat on the way?". Instead of answering this time Bright glared at Win he decided not to waste time and come to the point "Who was that girl?". Win understood Bright was asking about Zea he truthfully answered "She's my classmate". Bright ask another question "Why she came here all the way to meet you at your workplace?". Win blink as he was confused with Bright tone, not sure but he started wondering if Bright is jealous after a moment of pause he answered "She wanted me to teach her Econometrics but I refuse because I'm not good at it and myself need help. We're having test next week". Bright ask third question "That is all" Win responded "Yes, Econometrics professor is bit strict with us".

It was the truth and in all honesty Win wanted to tell Bright about her confession too but for him it wasn't something very important that Bright should know. And after whatever happen in the morning he doesn't wanted to spoil Bright mood more as it's not good for a pregnant person to feel alot of negative emotions it'll affect their baby development. On the other hand Bright didn't like it knowing that Win was supposedly hiding about getting confessed, though he rejected her politely but honesty is the foundation of every relationship, specially for them both, being quiet from stranger to each other then suddenly getting tangled for life was rarest of anyone's situation. So it becomes more important for them both to stay truthful with each other as they hardly know anything about each other habit and personal life.

But then again how much Win know about him, they need to trust each other, if they want to be together in future they shouldn't hide smallest of things from each other, this time Bright decided to give benefit of doubt to his baby Daddy. Not sure what he'll do next time. Bright turned his head and open his mouth to say something but Win rested his head back on the seat and began to unbuttons his jacket showing off his sexy collarbone and Bright suddenly gulped feeling his throat dry as he shift on his seat his corrupted mind gives him a flashback of doing that himself to Win clothes in the motel room. Bright shakes his head and ask stuttering to divert his mind "D...Do you want some..". he pick one and holds for Win. Win turned his head saying "it's yours". Bright explain "It's too much for me, I need to eat proper dinner later at home". He waited for Win answer by holding his gaze but instead Win leaned and took the fruit into his mouth from Bright's hand chewing on the berry asking "it's yours though... But I don't mind eating some from your hand... Please pretty mommy".
