Chapter 31

As soon as Win grabs his phone, he apologize mouthing Sorry to Bright then quickly answered the call "Mom!?", Win's Mom, Maya question from other side "Win, son I called to check up on you. How are you doing? It's been a while?". Win answered "I'm fine Mom, how are you and your Little monsters?". Maya chukled and replied "We all are fine, son. They both miss their elder brother". Win respond softly "I miss them too, Mom". Maya then ask "How's your studies and work going?. Do you need ...". Win stayed quiet, as he watch Bright move away from him and get down from the bed quietly heading towards his bathroom. As much as Bright wanted to pry, about Win family, he wasn't felt right thing to do. He wanted to give Win, his space to talk to his family. He seems an obedient child whom he's going to ruined it, for his lust and benefit. Suddenly Maya question "Win are you there?", Before closing the bathroom, door Bright, turned around and shoot his small smile at Win followed by a single nod assuring him that it's fine. Win, nods in response and quickly replied to his mother "Yes, Mom everything is fine, d..don't stress about me.. just take care of yourself". Maya asked sound like a protective mother "Son, you're Okay, Right?, Do you need anything money, grocery, Do you want me and Anshuman to visit you for few days?".

Win groaned hearing his step father name, "No, Mom I'm fine. No need to visit me. Don't worry and Trust me. I work now and handle my own bills. Please stop worrying about me". Maya chukled "Okay, Okay if you say so. Win... I want you to come to Patna during your vacation, stay with us as a family for few days. Also it's Siya's 10th Birthday next month. She will be very happy to have you on her special day. It's been a while, baby". Win bite his lips, visiting Patna for couple of days, wasn't a big deal, but he still feel awkward to stay at his Step Father house. Though he's a very nice man, but Win find it difficult to accept him,  sure enough he doesn't felt right to depend on his step father financially, as the man not matter what he do, he cannot able to give him his father place. Win opened his mouth, "Mom, I...." Maya cut Win off and stated "Win, it's been more than a year you left home, Anshuman is a nice man. He always ask me about your wellbeing and studies, atleast you can come visit for couple of days, how much more time you'll need to accept him as your Father?". Win breath out, pinching the bridge of his nose feeling exhausted suddenly, he reluctantly agreed "Alright, I'll try to visit. In couple of weeks, I got my exams, after that I'll come over for few days". Maya softly stated, "Thanks sweetheart, I know you still need time to accept my husband as your Father, but know that, I love Anshuman as much as I love You and your siblings". Win swallowed and replied "Bye Mom, I'll see you soon". Maya softly stated "Okay muffin, I'll be expecting your visit over Siya's birthday next month. Take Care, I love you, Bye".

After saying Maya ended the call. Win sigh hard and closed his eyes thinking about his life. He should be happy knowing the new man in his mom's life loves her and take care of her, but he just couldn't come to the terms to accept him as his Father. After his Father's death, few years ago Anshuman appears in his mother's life and shower his love and affection, he took care of things in their life. He expressed his feeling, for his mother, Win wasn't the person who like to share, he wasn't had something to begin with though, except his only mother after his father death, but Anshuman took her away for him, though Win didn't said no when Maya and Anshuman ask his permission to do second marriage with each other. Hence, after his Mom marriage, it took alot, to share his mother, with not just his step Father, but also with his two small children.  After disconnecting the call Win stayed quiet on Bright's bed, thinking about stuff happening in his life. His mother second marriage was also one of the reasons he wanted to be in his child life. As he and Anshuman never get a chance to get warm up with each other, he never considered him more than his mother's husband resulting a twenty year old boy always longed to have a father figure in his life, he never felt he got the man's back, as soon as he passed out from his school, he moved out to Mumbai for further studies and decided not to interfere in his mother's new life. She doesn't need him, anymore as she now have two other children to take care of. Though, they keep her on her toes always, but because they're too adorable not to love them.
