"Recognize Batman; 0-2, Martian Manhunter; 0-2. Wonder Bat; B32, Rose; B34," The machine announced. The team gathered at the entrance interested to see who this "Rose" was and why Wonder Bat was there.

"Hi guys," Wonder Bat smiled.

"Everyone is here, good. This is your new member Rose," You waved to everyone, and they stood analyzing you. You started to feel uncomfortable at the staring slowly steeping back hiding behind Wonder Bat, while Kid Flash wasted no time in introducing himself.

"Hey, cutie. I'm Wally West, a.k.a Kid Flask," he introduces grabbing your hand.

"Hello, nice to meet you, Wally," You smiled while Artemis shoved Kid Flash out of the way. From the corner of your eyes, you saw Batman and Martian Manhunter leaving. Wonder Bat gave you a thumb up gesturing for you to talk to everyone.

"Ignore him, I'm Artemis, and yes that's my codename and my real name," She smiled turning towards the rest of the team. "And here we have Aqualad or Kaldur'ahm you can simply call him Kaldur," Artemis gestured to an Atlantean with light blond hair cut at the bottom, deep brown skin, pale green eyes, high cheekbones, and a lean build. He possesses black, eel-like tattoos that run across his back and along his arms.

"Miss Martian or M'gann," Artemis signals to a green-skinned female humanoid with amber eyes and shoulder-length light red hair. She wore a short-sleeved white top with a large red X on it, along with a knee-long blue shirt, a marine blue cape, gloves, and ankle-high boots that smile kindly at you.

"Super Boy or Conner Kent," Artemis gestures to a Caucasian male with short black hair and blue eyes. He wore a black T-shirt, with the classic S-shield in red. All you could think was how similar - no identical he look to Superman.

"Lucky last is-"

"Boy Wonder," You interrupt Artemis with a soft smile on your face.

"Hey, Rose," Boy Wonder smile back at the girl causing the team to wonder how Robin knew her. "Rose is from Gotham, she has worked with us a few times," Robin explains smirking at his team.

M'gann floated towards you smiling brightly. "So, do you have any powers? Or what weapons d you use?" She inquire sweetly, you couldn't help but smile at her sweetness.

"Well, I can do multiple things, but since I mostly stay hidden, you probably haven't heard of me," you commented moving towards the couch. "Long story short I was living with my aunt after some small problems, and we decided it was best for me to live by myself in a better part of Gotham. I wanted to help others, but I didn't know how then one day I saw Batman, Wonder Bat, and Robin on T.V., and with the help of some family friends I went out and became a vigilante, and now here I am," you explain causing Wally's jaw to drop turning to face Robin and Wonder Bat, his face inches away from his two friends.

"How does it feel to have inspired such a beautiful Lad-eh," before Kid could finish Robin grabbed his face showing him to the floor.

You laugh at the commotion.

It was quite obvious you were beautiful despite you wearing a mask to cover your face. Since you gained your powers, your eyes had changed colors from beautiful (eye color) eyes to bright green-emerald ones. If anyone looked closely, they would see some iris freckles in your eyes that at times looked like Roses.

"So, why is your hero name, Rose?" Artemis inquires handing you a soda.

"Thanks, it's because I can control plants, but also because someone important calls me that. Besides, she's the reason I'm even here," You explain grabbing the soda.

"How do you know Wonder Bat?" Wally questioned speeding to grab some chips before sitting down next to you.

"Well, I met her before I became Rose. It was quite funny when we meet. She thought I was one of the Mistress' goons and I thought she was going to hurt my aunt. So, we fought each other, and it wasn't until Batman and my aunt came that we realize that we weren't each other's enemies," you smile remembering the day you and Wonder Bat became friends.

"Yeah, she can throw a punch," Wonder Bat commented remembering when Rose wrapped her in vines.

"And you threw me out a window,"

"I say I was sorry,"

"Yeah whatever," You smile at your friend.

"So, Rose who trained you?" Artemis wonders. "I mean you were able to punch Wonder Bat,"

Your smile dropped you hadn't anticipated that question. Sure, you need that sooner or later, but you had hoped it was later. Should you tell them? Would they treat you differently? Would they reject you? Deciding that it was better to not lie for the consequences would be bigger. Each member in the room grew tense at your obvious dislike for the question.

"I'm not going to lie... I have a dark past. But I think it would be for the best to put it all out there so we can work together with nothing more than absolute trust," taking a long breath the Team waited for an answer. "My aunt is Pamela Isley-" Before you could continue Wally interrupted you.

"YOU'RE POISON IVY'S NIECE?" Wally called, ignoring him because well it's quite obvious.

"Yeah," You reply, not wanting to say anything else.

"So, did she give you her powers? Or what?" Kid inquires, intrigued with your past.

"Don'task such a question Kid," Kaldur scolded the red-head teen, Wonder Bat smacking the back of his head.

"What was that for babe?!"

"For being an idiot," Wonder Bat replied walking next to you. "Anyway, Rose and I are leaving now we'll see you tomorrow,"

And just like that you and Wonder Bat were gone.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for what you did back there,"

"It's no problem, what are friends for?"

"Yeah,"
