I thought about this while watching TV. It's short. Your villain's name is Rose Gold. They both know each other secret identity. The reader kidnaps Jaime, and the "kidnapping" doesn't go as planned.

"Did you really have to tie me up?" Jaime asked, his gaze locked on your eyes, his tone a mix of exasperation and curiosity.

You sighed, rolling your eyes. "If I didn't, you would've run off," you replied, one hand resting on your hip.

Jaime raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "So what? We both know you're faster than me, chica," he teased, though there was a hint of genuine disbelief in his voice. "I still can't believe you actually did this."

You tilted your head, a puzzled look crossing your face. "What? Kidnapping you?" you asked, trying to pinpoint what he meant.

"No, not that. I'm fine with the kidnapping—well, sort of," Jaime replied sarcastically, shaking his head. "I'm more put off by how you messed up my hair," he added with mock seriousness, then quickly shifted back to a glare. "Of course, I'm upset you kidnapped me!"

"Sorry," you said, not sounding particularly apologetic. "But you didn't exactly put up a fight, Jaime."

"How could I? You asked me to walk you to your car. How was I supposed to know you planned to chloroform me and tie me up?" Jaime shot back, his glare intensifying. "Please, (Name), don't do this," he pleaded, the frustration evident in his voice.

You scoffed, meeting his intense gaze. "Listen, mi amor, I can't let you and your team 'save the day' again. There's something much bigger happening here. You don't know what you're up against," you explained, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. "I know I've made mistakes, but I'm fighting for the greater good."

Jaime's expression softened slightly, but his resolve remained firm. "Well, no soy quien está torturando a la gente, ¿verdad?" he said, his voice edged with sarcasm.

You smiled at him, shaking your head. "I know, and that's one of the many reasons I love you. But that's also why I can't tell you the whole truth," you admitted, leaning in to kiss him.

Jaime sighed, his chocolate-brown eyes searching yours. "This is the calmest kidnapping I've ever been part of, you know?" he commented, a small smile tugging at his lips.

You laughed softly, glancing at the cracked mirror on your right.

"Mi amor, when are you going to tell me your plan?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" you replied, playing coy.

Jaime smirked. "I know you, chica. You're going to reveal your plan sooner or later, so I'll just wait until then to make my move."

"Fair enough," you said with a smirk of your own. "But don't think I'm unprepared this time. Be ready for a fight. And tell Scarab to stop trying to locate everyone here," you added with a warm yet warning smile.

"Fine, but you know," Jaime began, his tone shifting as he tried to throw you off balance, "your mother is a lovely woman."

Your expression faltered for a moment before you scoffed. "Por favor, cállate," you muttered, clearly unamused.

Jaime pressed on, undeterred. "En realidad no. I'm just trying to figure out how such a nice woman managed to raise someone like you."

You couldn't help but smirk, shrugging your shoulders. "Please, you love this 'screw-up.'" But then your smile faded as you continued, your voice dropping. "Besides, my mom wasn't always so 'nice' and 'welcoming.' Once upon a time, she was cruel, vicious, and a real nightmare. She's the reason I'm here. You don't know the real her, but I do. That monster gave me everything so I could be here," you said, your gaze dropping to the floor as tears threatened to spill.

Suddenly, a soft voice crackled through your earpiece. "Rose Gold, is Blue Beetle still with you?

"Yeah, why?" you asked, tapping the earpiece as you tried to compose yourself.

"Because those wanna-be heroes are here, and I have a feeling Blue Beetle tipped them off. You didn't tell him about our plan, did you?" the voice inquired.

"Of course not," you replied, casting a worried glance at Jaime. "Look, just distract them while I handle him," you ordered, then turned back to Jaime. "Now, Jaime, why can't you just let me do my job?"

Jaime chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Because it's my job to stop you," he replied teasingly.

"Right," you laughed, shaking your head.
