This is a request, I decided that it would be better if Conner and the reader were just friends, but both like each other, and the reader has memories of Pamela with the team, also Pamela goes by Kassia or Pam. Sorry, it took so long, I just have been filled with so many exams this past four weeks, and to make things worse I'm sick.

The request was to do a cute Conner Kent x short & kind-hearted! Reader One Shot, where Reader (after receiving a mysterious water lily-shaped necklace for her birthday) suddenly finds herself in Young Justice as a teen version of Poison Ivy and Conner's girlfriend. From the Reader P.O.V? (Conner and M'gann never dated). Okay so I try my best, I'm probably going to rewrite this, later on, that's if I remember.

Edit: So, after tons of procrastination. I have finally rewritten this!! I'm so happy!!

As Y/n walked up the stairs to her room, she left her white shoes and scattered pieces of clothing behind. She hummed happily, savoring the joy of her birthday. The day had been nothing short of perfect, or as close to perfect as one could get. Her entire family had come together from both her mom's and dad's sides, though she would have preferred if her dad hadn't shown up. There had been no fighting or arguing—just an atmosphere of pure celebration. All her close friends were there, and she was overjoyed that everyone seemed so happy.

Even though her friends had a hard time tolerating her dad's side of the family, they had made an effort to be polite. It wasn't easy, but they managed. Y/n felt like the black sheep among her family—tall, muscular, and often harsh people. In contrast, she was kind-hearted, sweet, warm, caring, and, of course, much shorter.

"Y/n, this was left at the door," her older sister Ines said, holding out a lavender box. Y/n got off her bed and took the box from her sister, eyeing her with curiosity.

"Who left it?" Y/n asked, examining the light emerald-green envelope.

"I don't know, and honestly, I don't care. But I'm pretty sure it's from that boy at your school who's in love with you," Ines said, heading back to her room.

Y/n opened the envelope to find a light green letter:

For my little flower, Happy fifteenth birthday. I'm sorry I couldn't make it, but I hope you have an amazing day. I hope you like this gift, my precious baby. Love you. - L/N

Inside the box was a golden necklace with a pink star diamond shaped like a rose. Y/n searched for a name but found none. Shrugging, she decided to put it on. The moment the necklace touched her skin, everything went black, and Y/n fainted.

"Kassia, are you okay?" A soft, welcoming voice asked. Y/n opened her emerald-green eyes to see a green-skinned female humanoid with amber eyes and shoulder-length light red hair. She wore a white top with a large red X, a knee-length blue skirt, a marine blue cape, gloves, and ankle-high boots.

"Who are you? Where am I? How did I get here? Where are we?" Y/n shouted, her hair rising with her panic.

"Kassia, calm down. Batman and Tornado mentioned you might lose some memories due to the impact, but don't worry—I'm here to help," the humanoid said with a reassuring smile, extending her hands toward Y/n's head.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!!" Y/n screamed.

"Pamela, I only want to help you," the humanoid said.

"I don't need your help! Just tell me what's happening and how I got here!"

"Alright, during our mission, you were hit by a ray," Miss Martian explained, trying to calm Y/n.

"I'm sorry for screaming, but what mission are you talking about? I was just putting on my necklace—my necklace, where is it?!" Y/n asked, frantically searching for the necklace.

"It's okay, Pam. Conner has it. After you were hit, one of Queen's minions took it, but Conner managed to get it back," Miss Martian said.

"Okay, I'm still confused about this mission," Y/n said.

"The mission was to infiltrate Queen's base. But, as often happens, we got caught. Queen decided you would be the best test subject due to your powers—"

"And I was blasted before we could even figure out the components of the ray or her plan," Y/n finished.

"Exactly. Fortunately, after hitting you, the machine exploded, and Queen is now imprisoned," Miss Martian said.

"Pam, are you okay?" A rough but welcoming voice asked. Y/n turned to see a tall, muscular Caucasian male with short black hair and blue eyes. He looked around sixteen or seventeen years old.

"I'm fine, just a few bruises and a major headache. It's nothing I can't handle," Y/n said with a reassuring smile, meeting his electric blue eyes.

"I'm going to leave you two alone," M'gann said, hurrying out of the room.

"Are you okay? Pam, I was so worried. I told Batman not to let you go, but he didn't listen. It's all my fault. If I had been stronger, you wouldn't have been hurt. And who knows what the ray did to you. I'm so sorry, Pam. It's all my fault," Conner said, his voice cracking with emotion.

"It's okay, Conner. There's no need to cry. I'm alright, nothing bad happened," Y/n said kindly, trying to comfort him.

"It's just that I've been so worried about you. If anything had happened to you... You've always been there for me, and I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you. If only I were stronger, like Superman. Maybe you wouldn't have been hurt. I'm just a clone, not even close to Superman. What if I couldn't save you? What if—"

"Enough with the what-ifs. Nothing bad happened. I know you won't let anything bad happen to me. You're so much more than Uncle Clark's clone. You're special, and I know you'd do anything to keep me safe. Now, where's my necklace?" Y/n asked, hugging Conner.

"Right here," Conner said softly, pulling the necklace from his pocket and fastening it around her neck. He watched as a small, peaceful smile appeared on Y/n's face. She seemed completely relaxed, a stark contrast to the tension of the past few days. Conner wanted to see her like this always. He wished he could take all her burdens away.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" Y/n asked, breaking Conner from his thoughts. "I was thinking about Alita: Battle Angel. What do you think?" Conner could only nod, too overwhelmed to speak.

The two teens spent the evening watching movie after movie, laughing and crying together. Y/n was truly happy. Even though she had just met Conner, she felt a deep connection to him. As they cuddled, she wondered how she ended up here but was grateful for this chance at a better life. Perhaps what she had been missing was someone like Conner.

As they drifted off to sleep, both dreaming of a brighter future, they found comfort in each other's presence. It was perfect, and though they didn't know what the future held, they were content for now. But that's a story for another time.
