"Tyler, you need to calm down!" Stefan practically ordered as he held his hand out to try and calm Tyler without getting too close.

"Jeremy!" Elena gasped as Jeremy decided to hurry to Tyler and wrap his arms around him. Tyler broke and looked over at Bonnie and Damon who were hunched over you. You lay limp on the ground and hadn't moved since they'd arrived.

"You can't lose control like this. Not with all the people out there." Jeremy muttered and pointed towards the busy street that wasn't too far away. Out of the woods and up the street would lead to a small town fate with half the town attending.

"I can't. I can't do this." Tyler said weakly.

"Of course, you can. You've been through worse Tyler. Why would you think you couldn't keep control now?" Stefan asked. He had come closer with Jeremy managing to keep Tyler upright and his eyes dimmed.

"Because I'm in love with (Y/N). I love them. That's right. I love them. I love them. I love you, (Y/N) ." Tyler said and started to sob. Bonnie and Damon stopped talking and looked at him. Elena covered her mouth as she caught Bonnie's eye and saw the way she swallowed nervously. They all froze and Jeremy let Tyler go who crumpled to the ground and crawled to you.

"You can't do anything more?" Stefan asked.

"Well, there's one thing I could do. I think we all know (Y/N)'s opinions on that." Damon said quietly. Tyler broke and sobbed loudly as everyone went quiet. Caroline and Matt emerged having chased off the attacker that had gone after you.

"I could do it. (Y/N) said if it was any of us... if we had to. If we really had to." Caroline said quietly.

"Why are we all talking about this? We just need to get an ambulance. There's one right up the road!" Jeremy said loudly. Matt hurried to stop him as Bonnie stood and he saw the look on her face.

"No. no. n..." Tyler whimpered quietly. Damon reached out and place a hand on Tyler's shoulder.

"Do it now or you won't get a chance to." He said to Caroline who knelt down next to Tyler and took in a shaky breath. She bit her wrist and held it out over your mouth.
