Request: Bonnie can I request Tyler Lockwood and a female reader with I'll give it to someone special for #December2022

You were excited to spot Tyler. He looked as if he wasn't enjoying the Mystic Falls light switch-on event. You weren't too fussed about it but had been excited to be able to see Tyler open his gift.

You'd tried pretty hard to find it. Every time you got close enough to catch Tyler's attention someone pulled him away. You finally got to him and hurried over.

"Tyler!" You called. He sighed and looked your way. The smile on your face fell a little when you saw the look he gave you.

"What do you wat?" He snapped. You assumed he was grumpy from the cold and tried not to be put out as you pulled the gift from your bag and handed it to him. "What's this?"

"Your gift. I left everyone else's at Caroline's but she said that you wouldn't be there. I wanted to make sure you got it." You explained. Tyler sighed a little and handed it back.

"Well, I don't have time for this." He turned away and the gift became impossibly heavy in your hands, weighed down by disappointment. It wasn't how you pictured the gift-giving going.

"Wait. But I... Got this for you." You said quietly.

"There are more important things going on than our need to give you a jolly holiday. People are getting hurt. Bad guys are on the loose!" Tyler snapped.

"I know that Tyler. I've been helping fight them off too or did you forget? I just wanted a second that would be nice and memorable in case something terrible happens". You snapped and looked down at the gift in your hands. "I'll give it to someone special."

Before he could say anything you stomped off back towards the car-park. As you reached your car someone cleared their throat behind you.

"Sorry love. I was wondering if you could give me some directions." You heard as you turned around.
