Liam: Sitting with your 15 year old daughter, as she was preparing to sign a major record deal, you and Liam felt so much pride. Along with that pride though, Liam also felt a lot of worry. Your daughter was sensitive, and he wasn't sure she was ready for all that could come along with the album she was so excited about. "Are you sure about this? Things change so quickly once this happens. Signing that line means you're okay with your life never being the same again." You nodded in agreement with Liam, "Everything you do or say will be torn apart if this goes well. You have to have thick skin." your daughter seemed to genuinely think over if she was completely sure this is what she wanted. "I want to sing." Liam nodded, having known all along that is what she would say, "I know, but just be ready for what's coming. Your mum and I are here though, no matter what. If things get crazy, you'll still have us."

Harry: "If I have to hear one more time 'Harry Styles' daughter' I may scream," you daughter sighed, as the two of you went through reviews for her first album. You didn't miss that fact either, that every single person had to mention your husband. And it made sense, of course. Your daughter had so much pride in her work though, and wanted to be recognized for that as well. "This one literally says 'Harry Styles' daughter can sing too!'" You daughter said, pointing at the review, "No one cares to even say my name." You stared at the screen, and all the kind words, mostly about Harry. "They may not count you as just yourself yet, but one day they will. Trust me. You're so talented. Just wait, your dad says one day you'll be the most famous Styles ever." You managed to bring a smile to your daughter's face with that comment, "I think that would be close to impossible." "Well he's sure it will happen, so it must not be that impossible."

Niall: "You need to stop being so supportive," you commented to Niall, instantly knowing how odd that sounded. "That's not what I mean," you shook your head, when Niall looked at you so confused. Your son was trying to become a singer, hoping to follow in his father's footsteps, and Niall was doing everything he could to help him reach that goal. Maybe a little too much. "I just mean," you sighed, hating the way your husband was now looking at you, "that he wants to make it on his own. He doesn't want to make it because his dad got him a record deal. Don't you understand that?" Niall not understood where you were coming from, but still wanted to help so much. "What do I do then? I want to support his dream, and I can." You nodded, and sighed, "You're right, you can, but don't. Let him try to go for his dream on his own. Just be supportive, without actually trying to make his career for him. That is all he wants."

Louis: When you and Louis got home, after a rare date night, you were shocked to find your 16 year old daughter in tears on the couch. "Baby, what's wrong?" you asked, as you down next to her, and wrapped your arms around her. "I can't sing," she sobbed, and Louis' heart broke. "Yes you can." She looked up at him, and shook her head sadly, "No, my friends and I were goofing off and recording ourselves, and I'm the worst one. I wanted so badly to be a singer like you, and I never will." All of this sounded so familiar to Louis. He had said things so similar when he was her age, and now he knew he had been wrong. "Don't say that. You can sing. You just don't know it yet. Your voice may not sound like everyone else, but that doesn't mean it's bad. You're an amazing singer." Your daughter just did not believe him, "No, I have no talent. No one would ever want to hear me." He sighed, and shook his head, "I use to say the same thing, but you're wrong, trust me."

Zayn: "Why don't you think I can do?! Why won't you let me try?!" Your 13 year old daughter screamed that at Zayn, when he yet again told her she was too young for a singing career right now. You stood back, and stayed out of it, as always. This was not your area, and you always felt like you had no idea what you were saying when it came to this. Zayn knew what he was talking about, and you did not at all. "Calm down," Zayn told her, knowing he was not being as unsupportive as she was saying. He hated seeing her upset, or to think she thought he wasn't supportive of her dreams. "I want you to follow your dreams. Your mom and I both do." Your daughter looked towards you, and you simply nodded in agreement. When Zayn continued speaking, she turned back to look at him, "But it's a big thing. You don't realize it. When you're older, it'll be better. Not now. Not at 13. Just wait, okay. You have plenty of time to go after your dreams."
