Niall: You felt like you and Niall were making a really good team, as you prepared a dinner for a few of your closest friends. You'd both been in the kitchen for over an hour now, preparing everything for the meal; and so far nothing had gone wrong. "The chicken is almost done, I cut all the potatoes, and..." As you were speaking, Niall glanced at the oven, and cut you off, "The chicken is in the oven?" You nodded, "Yes, but don't worry, it won't burn. I'll check it when it gets closer." "I'm not worried about it burning," Niall answered, while your eyes went towards the oven as well. Before he even spoke, you knew what he was going to say, and felt a sinking feeling. Things were not going as well as you thought. "It can't burn if the oven isn't on."
Zayn: "This smells amazing," you sighed, as you stood over the stove, "I am so excited to eat everything." "Me too," Zayn agreed, while wrapping his arms around you from behind. He looked at the many pots and pans before you, and a smiled spread over his face, "I can't believe we cooked all this. I was sure we'd up with nothing. You did do most of the work though." You laughed at his comment, and spun around, so that you were face to face, "You helped a lot." "I didn't do that much," Zayn responded, "But it was nice to spend this time with you." You nodded your head instantly. Your time together was so rare and precious. "It really was."
Harry: "Nothing is ready!" You screamed, while Harry chopped some vegetables. You were panicking, because in less than an hour you were supposed to have a huge dinner ready for Harry's family, as well as yours. It would be the first time they'd all be together, and you wanted things to be perfect. "We have time," Harry said, trying to calm you, "And plus, if it's not, then our mom's will just end up helping. It'll probably end up being really nice." That did not ease your mind t all, "We can't put our mom's to work! This is about them meeting, and nothing else." Harry sighed, "Okay, so we'll be ready then. Just calm down, and we can finish. We have an hour." You tried to take a deep breath, but it didn't work, "I don't know how we'll do it, but I'm going to trust you."
Liam: "We did such a good job," you commented, as you grabbed a slice of the pizza that you and Liam had just prepared. "Because it's so hard to make a pizza," Liam replied jokingly, before taking a bite of the slice he held in his hands. You laughed, thinking back to the premade crust you used, and the canned sauce. "Well I mean, we didn't burn it." Liam nodded his head, "That is true. And we did managed to put just the right amount of toppings on it." You took a small bite, while nodding as well. "I did enjoy making this with you," Liam said seriously, "It was fun. Sure it wasn't a five course feast, but it was fun." As soon as you finished chewing what was in your mouth, you replied, "It was, and honestly, a five course meal would not taste as good."
Louis: "This is awful," you almost gagged, as you took a bite out of the meal you and Louis had worked on for hours. Somehow along the way something had gone horrible wrong, but you were only noticing now. Minutes before your friends, whom you were cooking for, were set to arrive. "It's not that bad," Louis said, before actually taking a bite himself, and quickly going to the sink, "What did we do?!" "I have no idea," you answered honestly, unable to think of anything that would have ruined the meal, "but we can't serve that." "We can't, but what else can we give them?" Louis asked, glancing around the kitchen, as if something else would just appear. You shrugged, "We'll just make popcorn, and say we'll have a movie night. Maybe make sandwiches. No one will think it's weird. It'll still be perfect."
