We arrived at the Byers House. Nancy ran up to me and Mike and hugged us,"I was worried about you two."
"Me too."
"Me three." Mike said.
"Is that my dress?" Nancy asked confused, while looking at El.
"That's Eleven." I said. And then when we got inside, we told them everything we knew.
"In this example. We are the acrobat." Mike said showing them the paper. "Will and Barbara, also the monster are this flea. This is the Upside Down, where Will is hiding."
"Mr Clarke said the only way to get there is through a rip of time and space." I told them. "A gate."
"Which we think is in Hawkins Lab." Lucas added.
"We found out with our compasses." Dustin also added. "The gate had a really strong electromagnetic field, and that can change the directions of a compass needle."
"Is this gate underground?" Hopper asked
"Yes." Eleven said.
"Near a large water tank?"
"Yes."
"How do you know all that?" Stuttered Dustin.
"He's seen it."
"Is there any way that you could.. that you could reach Will? That you could talk to him in this-" Joyce said
"Upside Down." Eleven said
"Down, yeah."
"And my friend Barbara? Can you find her, too?" Asked Nancy. Now we were all at the table, eleven was in front of everyone. The static was playing on the walkie-talkie, she had her eye closed. The lights flickered,"I'm sorry."
"what?" I questioned
"What's wrong? What happened?" Joyce stuttered.
"I can't find them."
Eleven went to the bathroom and we explained. "Whenever she used her powers, she gets weak."
"The more energy she uses, she more tired she gets." Dustin said.
"Like she flipped a van earlier." Lucas said
"It was awesome." Dustin added.
"But she's drained." Mike said.
"Like a bad battery." Dustin said
"How do we make her better?"
"We don't. We just have to wait and try again." Said Mike
"How long?" Nancy asked.
"The bath." Eleven said
"What?"
We all turned to look at her.
"I can find them, in the bath."
And now Dustin was on the phone with our teacher. Dustin glanced at us.
