We followed the car and I spotted Nancy. We got out of the car and stared at her. She put up her hand a little to show a wave, Steve waved back. She was talking to the cops.
And we were now sitting at the picnics table, telling Nancy what we think.
"You're saying that this thing killed fred and Chrissy.."She said. "It's from the Upside Down."
"If the shoe fits,"
"Our working theory is he attacks with a spell, or a curse." Said dustin. "Now whether or not he's doing the bidding of the Mind Flayed, or he just loves killing teens, we don't know."
"All we know is this is something different.Something new." I said.
"It doesn't make sense."
"No, Fred and Chrissy don't make sense. I mean, why them?"
"Maybe they were just in the wrong place. They were both at the game."
"And near the trailer park." Max added.
"We are at the trailer park." Steve added. "Uh, should we maybe not be here?"
We all looked around,"there is something about this place. Fred started acting weird the second we got here."
"Acting weird as in..?"
"Scared, on edge, upset."
"Max said Chrissy was upset too."
"Yeah but not here. She was crying in the bathroom at school."
"Serial killers stalk their prey before they strike, right?" Robin said. "So maybe Fred and Chrissy saw this Vecman—"
"Vecna." Dustin corrected
"Dunno about you, but if I saw some freaky wizard monster, I would mention it to someone."
"Maybe they did." I said."Chrissy goes to Ms Kelley, and max saw her leaving her office. And if you saw a monster, you wouldn't go to the police right? They would never believe you."
"But you might go to your shrink."Robin said.
I nodded and we all got up and walked to the car. Nancy started to walk away and Steve called her name.
"There's something I want to check on first." She answered.
"Something you wanna share with the rest of us??" Dustin said.
"Don't wanna waste your time. It's a shot in the dark."
"Yeah, are you out of your mind?" Steve said. "Flying solo with Vecna on the loose. Too dangerous. You need..need someone to.." he threw the keys to Robin. "Here, I can stick with Nance take the car, check out the shrink."
