I got off the bike and put the stand down, I ran inside and to Scoops Ahoy, Robin, Erica and Dustin were at a table, with tons of ice cream treats. I walked towards them and grabbed an icecream sundae off the table, I pulled the cherry off and bit it, "hello friends."
"you're late." Dustin said.
"Well, I'm sorry I'm not old enough to drive and my legs hurt."
"We already got Erica to agree, but you are welcome to join us." Dustin said. I looked at Erica,"you got ice cream for life?"
She nodded with a smile and we high-fived.
"girl power."
Dustin gave me a glance as Steve walked out and explained to Erica what she had to do exactly, we got her ready and ran outside where she was going to open the door.
She got it open and we ran inside, there was a bunch of boxes. I took out a knife and handed it to Steve. "Not going to ask where you got that." He sliced the tape on the box and unfolded the sides. He reached his hand into it and turned the thing. He took off the top as smoke floated out.
"That's definitely not Chinese food." Steve said, since the box's said that it was supposedly was. "Maybe you guys should step back."
Me, Robin and Erica did. Steve pushed Dustin away as they argued. "If you die, I die." Dustin said.
"Okay." Steve said.
"No one's going to die." I muttered. I heard clicking and air hissing, and Steve pulled out this bottle with green substance. And then the room started to like move and make noises.
"Did the room just move? Or was that just me?" I questioned.
"The room moved."
"Booby traps." Erica whispered.
"Let's take this and go." Robin said. Air was hissing and Dustin pressed the buttons.
"Which one do I press, Erica?"
"The open door button!"
And now Steve and Dustin started to argue about stupid buttons.
"Just open the door!"
And then there was a loud clang and another door slammed shut. The room started to shake as we all screamed repeatedly. Dustin and Erica were still struggling to press the buttons.
"We're going down! We're going down!" Steve yelled.
"Yeah, no shit, Harrington!" Robin shouted
"Why don't these buttons work?!" Dustin yelled out.
"Just press the button!" Erica told him.
"What do you think I'm doing?!"
"Come on, press something! Just press the button!" Steve screamed.
