Maddie Pov: They had the mask oxygen thing on him, they ripped off the shirt thing they put on him, he had no burns. They put things all over his body, there was beeping. They then stuck a needle in him and it stopped.
I heard Bob yell and Joyce talking. I picked up my head from Mike and got up. Mike followed me and we walked towards the bed. Will was now awake.
"Who is that?" Will asked his mom, glancing at Bob.
"What? What?"
"It's me, big guy. It's Bob."
"Are you a... doctor?" Will started to say after pulling his hand away.
"No. No, it's just me. Just...just Bob."
Mike and I looked at each other, scared. The doctors checked him out, we were standing around him. They were asking him questions.
Maybe he had a concussion? Would he remember me and Mike?
The doctor pointed to Mike and I,"who are they? Do you know?"
Silence. I bit my lip. "It's okay, take your time."
"They are my friends." Will said finally. "Mike, Maddie."
"What about me, kid? You remember me?" Hopper asked. Will stared at him and shook his head no.
"They tell me you helped save me last night. You remember that?"
He shook his head no again
"Do you remember anything about last night? About what happened?" The doctor said
"I remember they hurt me." Will said.
"The doctors?" He questioned.
"No. Soldiers." Will told him.
"They hurt you? The soldiers hurt you?"
"They shouldn't have done that." Will said. "It upset him."
Mike and I looked at each other once again and then around the room. The doctor pulled out a picture,"is this him? The one they upset?"
Will nodded slowly.
"Okay. Okay. I wanna try something. It's gonna seem a little odd at first, but I think it's gonna help us understand what's going on." The doctor said. "Is that okay?"
"Okay."
They brought in this worm-slug looking thing and took a flame thing and put it to the worm looking thing. "Feel anything?"
"A little sting." Will stammered.
"Stings? Where?"
The creature screeched.
"My chest." Will grunted as he put a hand on his chest.
