"I'm gonna fall!" "You're not gonna fall, I've got you." Eddie laughed, grabbing Steve's hands. It was their seventh anniversary, and when Eddie found out Steve didn't know how to Roller-skate, of course he had to bring him to the roller rink. Steve gripped onto his lover as they glided around the arena. Eddie let him go and he gasped. He found that he was able to stay balanced, and he grinned. "I'm doing it!" "Your doing great!" Eddie cheers him on. Suddenly, someone bumped into him, well they were speeding by, and Steve fell face first onto the ground. "Steve?" Eddie asked tentatively. "I'm good. Just gonna lay here for a second." Steve gave him a thumbs up, and Eddie couldn't help but giggle.

Eventually, Steve got up, and Eddie started crying when he saw the blood pouring down his face. "I'm so sorry, we should have just gotten pizza or something." Eddie was hyperventilating. "It's fine Eds, it's just a nosebleed" Steve pinched the bridge of his nose and tilted his head up. They got off the rink and sat at a table, and Eddie helped Steve untie his skates. Once his nose stopped bleeding, they got milkshakes and played arcade games for an hour.

"How are things with Simon?" Eddie asked on the car ride home. "Fine. He's planning to move in with his boyfriend next week. Mom won't talk to either of us." Steve chuckled. Eddie frowned, drumming his fingers on the steering wheel. About a week after his mom had disowned him, Steve's older brother had come out as bisexual, feeling bad that Steve was being ghosted by their mother. Of course, their mom had found this oh so sinful, and now they were both disowned. But Steve was secretly glad he wasn't alone anymore.

"Are you sure you're ok?" Eddie asked quietly. "I will be." Steve admitted, scratching the back of his neck. "You know I love you right?" Eddie squeezed his knee. "I know." Steve looked out the window, his leg bouncing nervously. "And I love you. I just have this constant fear that one day, everything will change, and you're gonna slip away, and I won't be able to hold on." Steve whispered. "But that's not gonna happen, ok? I'll always be here for you. Don't forget that." "Thank you, for being there for me." Steve looked at his boyfriend with a smile. "Always."

Sry for the very short first chapter. Have a good day :)
