After a week of searching for Shigaraki, most of the members of the league started to leave the cause. Only the ones who were close-knit stayed. Spinner, Twice, Toga, Dabi, Kurogiri, Y/n, and Compress all sat around the bar trying to figure out where to go next. "-Shigaraki probably got snagged by some heroes and it wasn't publicized." Dabi sighed as he sat down on a stool next to Y/n. "Spinner just shut the fuck up. At this point, it doesn't matter. We just need to either figure out what to do next or disband the league entirely." Immediately protests were being shouted and Y/n covered her ears.

Everyone's protests quieted down as a loud static sound fuzzed throughout the bar. A video image of a decrepit man missing facial features showed on a tv by the bar and Y/n held back her disgust. "As all of you know, Shigaraki is currently missing. The league can't go on without a leader, so I will be appointing one of you as a temporary leader till he inevitably returns." Murmurs rose and fell as he continued to speak. "Omen, I wish for you to meet me soon. Kurogiri knows where to send you, I expect your arrival by tonight." Y/n nodded and he bid farewell as the tv was consumed with static.

All eyes stared at Y/n as she uncomfortably sipped on a glass of water. "What." everyone sweatdropped at her deadpan as she was seemingly annoyed. "You aren't worried about meeting him?" Y/n gazed at Toga with disinterest. "Not really. At worst, he kills me. At best, I come back without a scratch." Everyone shrugged her nonchalant attitude off as they started to filter out of the base. "When would you like to go?" Y/n stared past Kurogiri as she tried not to feel overwhelmed. "In a few hours. I need some time to gather my thoughts and get ready." Kurogiri hummed and went back to standing idly.

When Y/n was ready, she let Kurogiri know and walked through the portal. She walked through a few doors after exiting the portal. When she finally saw All for One, she felt extremely uncomfortable. "You wanted me, so you got me. What's up, old man?" All for One disregarded her attitude as she walked closer. He could tell she was on edge, who wouldn't be? "Little miss Y/n L/n. Long time no see. I can tell you've turned out just like your Grandmother. So what brings you to my side of the fight?" Y/n's breath hitched as she heard her name fall from him.

"How do you know my family?" He chuckled lowly as he stood from his chair. "Answer my question first." Y/n's brows furrowed as she glared at him. "I've been the JHC's dog for too long and I want out. This is the only way to get out. Now tell me how and why you know me and my family." The man sighed as he sat back down, he needed to conserve his energy. "I guess you deserve the truth. You deserve to know your own lineage." He tapped his hand over his chest and Y/n scowled. "No. There is no way that I am related to you." The man lowly laughed "Well maybe you should tell your grandmother. Oh wait, she's long been dead since she refused to use her quirk to live eternally with me." Y/n's body shuddered at the thought of him being in any way related to her. "I refuse to believe it."

"I thought you'd say that. So here." Y/n cautiously took the photo from him as her hands trembled. There they stood, All for One and her Grandmother. And in her grandmother's arms was a child who looked just like she did when she was little. "That little girl is you. I think you were seven. Your mother wanted nothing to do with me. I took her life. Your father ran off while she was pregnant. Your Grandmother raised you from the age of three to seven. You mistakenly activated your quirk in public and were taken away from us." Y/n gripped the picture with a bit more force than necessary. "Lies!"

"It's the truth. The Hero Commission took you away and kept you under lock and key. They didn't understand your quirk, and when they finally did, they decided to use you. I won't say I tried to find you, I didn't bother after twenty years. And your grandmother quit using her quirk to keep herself alive." Y/n felt unsteady on her feet as she sat down on a stool. Her thoughts swirled as her eyes zeroed in on the photo. "This wasn't the best reunion, and it certainly isn't the worst. I half expected you to be brainwashed and ready to kill me. But this is a funny turn of events." Y/n stood up from the stool and started to walk away. "Send me back to the bar. I need some time to sort this out."

"Very well. I hope to see you again sooner rather than later."

.

When Y/n reappeared in the bar, Toga and Dabi stopped short of their greetings as they saw her face. Her face was paled out and she had a greenish tint. She snatched up the trash can and started to vomit violently. Her stomach churned as she continued to heave after her stomach was completely empty. No one was prepared for her to come back like this. Dabi dared to come near her after she passed out. "What the fuck was that?" Kurogiri and Toga silently shrugged their shoulders as Dabi picked Y/n's limp body up and took her to her room. Dabi dropped her onto her bed and watched as she writhed momentarily before curling in on herself. When he walked back out, Kurogiri was cleaning the mess Y/n had made and Toga was standing still in shock. "Does anyone have any idea of what the hell that was?" All of them were stuck without a clue. "Perhaps she got sick from the portals? She used one of Master's portals to return." All of them collectively decided that her sickness was because of the other portal.
