3rd POV

Hayya: "He goes inside the building Kahimo should we follow him?"

Kahimo: "Yes, we should follow him inside. There we might find his relics, a brat like him can't gain that much money in one go, it's impossible."

Hayya: "And if he still has high-quality relics, they might be hidden inside that building."

Kahimo: "Exactly. I'll watch, you go inside and kill the brat."

The two Hunters are on the move to get Rimuru and steal his relics. That's what they thought.

Rimuru POV

Once I got inside the building and was clear from the view of those Hunters, I ran straight to the top to have a clear view of where they were.

'All right. Let's try this baby right here. Let's see if I can reach them at this height.'

I get into a position where they wouldn't be able to see me here. I use the original AAH rifle.

Ciel, please do that thing.

In my eyes appeared an aim-assist and zooming effect. I could see this pest coming to the building.

It would be better to use my perception but that won't be fun.

Oh? It seems like one of them is on standby at the entrance.

Rimuru: "Let's play with you a little."

A grin appeared on Rimuru's face.

'I'm getting excited. I wonder if this is how it feels when hunting a rabbit or a duck.'

Rimuru went down to confront Hayya. He has the knife ready to go, he destroys the safety device so that it can maximize the sharpness of the blade in one go.

Meanwhile, Hayya keeps running in the hallway carefully checking the rooms and his surroundings, he doesn't have his guard that high because he thinks Rimuru is an easy target.

But when Hayya arrives on the 8th floor, his senses of danger keep ringing, and the hallway feels different; it's an instinct of high-rank Hunters when they feel danger.

He checks the hallway and rooms carefully.

Suddenly he remembers Rimuru at the time when he was at the Exchange Centre, he remembers the image of himself being full of bullets all over.

Creeps rose all over his body, but he shrugged them off to not lose his focus, that's when he heard a noise near the room where he was standing.

Hayya decided to check the room, but he didn't know someone was slowly creeping behind him.

Rimuru is leisurely walking to Hayya's behind, he completely erases his presence, sound, and smell.

Rimuru: "Yo! Looking for me?"

Hayya, who heard Rimuru's voice, immediately turns around and opens fire. But Rimuru's fist buried into his face and threw his body quite a distance.

Hayya: "Argh! Bastard! Where did you come from?!

Rimuru: "From your behind? You need to pay attention to your surroundings, you know? Just what is that information device of yours made for?"
