Chapter 24 Spicy Fight Between Cyborg and The Agent?

3rd POV

Nelia aimed her blades at Rimuru from the floor below, with her cyborg body she jumped close enough to the ceiling.

Neila: "What do you think of my blade? It's reinforced with liquid metals. It cuts well, wouldn't you agree?"

The silver blade in her hand vigorously cut through the floors which Rimuru evaded easily.

'Incredible, I still can't kill him. It makes sense Kain couldn't do it either. It doesn't matter, the trap is already set...'

Slowly luring him into the trap she set. The moment Rimuru steps onto that particular floor she cuts softly, he'll fall onto the floor and at that moment she will cut him... or so she thought.

As she was about to kick the floor above. She didn't expect Rimuru to step only in between the lines of cuts.

While smiling Rimuru gets ready, raises his leg and swings it down the floor.

Nelia: "Ha!?"

Rimuru: "Yo! It seems like you're doing your best to lure me into that certain spot. Other people might not notice it but unfortunately, you're facing me!"

Rimuru swung his sword towards Nelia, the liquid metal at the tip extended towards her. Rimuru's swords are longer than Nelia so it reaches her faster.

Nelia: "Ugh! What a monster, you can even do that while in midair?"

Nelia smiles amusedly, she can still feel the force of Rimuru's attack while waiting to land on her feet.

Nelia: "Nee~ How did you get that kind of sword?"

Rimuru: "Oh, this? I just found this somewhere in the ruins. Though I won't tell you which ruins, I'm sorry."

Nelia: "Don't worry about that, I was only asking since that kind of sword can only be found deeper in Kuzusuhara or the frontlines... Why not tell me your name then? Our meeting could mean something, surely you can do that, right?"

Rimuru: "Of course, My name is Rimuru, what about yours?"

Nelia dashed towards Rimuru, and both their blades extended and clashed. Both turned into liquid metal and splattered on the ground.

After a few clashes, they stepped in and lunged at each other, destroying their surroundings slowly because of the sharpness of their blades.

Fighting with the blade of the Old World at close range is dangerous because of its sharpness, one mistake and it'll cost you your life.

Nelia made a big sweep with her blade extending towards Rimuru, he also did the same and this continued by evading and chasing each other.

But they couldn't stop as one was starting to enjoy the fight and though the other was also seemingly giving his all to fight, it was just entertaining the opponent by wasting time.

After a while Nelia steps back to regain their distance before the fight. Their surroundings have a lot of cracks. It's only a matter of time before they collapse.

Nelia: "Still, I'm surprised that you can evade all my attacks. It's pretty amazing for someone your age to have enough skill to fight evenly against me with a blade. Or is that you're an old man on a child-size cyborg? Well, I don't mind either way though. By the way, do you have a girlfriend, Rimuru?"
