Chapter 26 Formally Meeting The Alpha.

It's already nighttime after Rimuru finished seeing the training of Alicia and Erio, though at first, they were afraid that Rimuru might join them but felt relieved to see him only at the side giving instructions.

Sheryl: "Are you going home now?"

Rimuru: "No, I'd like to stay here for the night. You don't mind, right?"

Sheryl: "Yes! Please, you're free to stay here anytime."

Alicia came and informed them that it was Sheryl's bath time.

Sheryl invited Rimuru which he accepted right away. She bought two towels as Rimuru didn't bring any clothes with him on the way out of the room.

When they were about to go inside the bathroom, Sheryl gave a stern warning not to disturb them inside.

Sheryl: "Alicia, Erio, I'm sure you already know this but don't disturb us inside. Understood?"

Erio: "Yes, boss."

Alicia: "Don't worry, you can take your time."

On the inside Rimuru already submerges himself in the warm water. He keeps thinking about what happened in his confrontation with Nelia.

'After the fight, that thing called Alpha shows up after giving me a warning about Nelia's partner running away... I bet she did it on purpose because when I positioned myself, the bastard was already far away... I guess she wants a bit of my time knowing that she might think she did me a favour...'

Rimuru: "... What a bitch."

Sheryl: "Eh? Rimuru?"

Rimuru: "Ah, sorry. Don't mind that, I just remembered something unpleasant."

Sheryl took her time washing her body, she needed to put in a lot of effort and polish it, as it is one of her assets to get the upper hand in negotiations.

She approaches Rimuru slowly hesitating, this is her first time bathing together with Rimuru without any towel.

Despite that, she didn't hesitate to show her body to Rimuru while slowly dipping herself into the bath as if showing off her beautiful body.

Sheryl: "... What do you think?"

Rimuru: "About what?"

Sheryl: "Ah- The b-bath of course."

Rimuru: "It's nice. I like the bath because it's huge. Also... the view is nice."

While answering Sheryl, Rimuru slowly opens his eyes, locking his gaze on Sheryl's. Slowly lowering his gaze tracing her body line which makes her conscious of her body.

They spend an hour inside the bath, after getting out Rimuru was carrying Sheryl*panting* in a bride-style.

Because of the noise they heard inside a while ago, despite looking like a tomato Erio and Alicia tried their best to act normal.

After that, they talked about the recruitment criteria that they implemented.

The recruitments will be under the screening of Erio, and Alicia before they meet Sheryl, the boss of the gang, to test the kids' attitudes towards the gang, not just towards Sheryl.
