Chapter 18 Battle Record and Conflict.

All the people on defensive point 14 have broken into two groups. All of them were only waiting for orders while checking the surroundings from time to time.

Suddenly they felt a heavy pressure around them. All of them were looking at each other to see who it was.

They saw Rimuru walk in coming from the stairs until the light illuminates his foot. He opened his eyes and all of them shivered.

The glowing gold eyes of Rimuru scan everyone. Every time Rimuru's eyes land on someone, their breathing stops.

After a few seconds, Rimuru continues to walk further from the centre, isolating himself from the others.

Everyone was cautious of Rimuru since he is the only one who has a heavy sharp atmosphere around him.

Until one of the groups started frequently leaving the hall. Reina tried to report them to the HQ but the HQ just shrugged it off thinking that it was not a crucial thing.

The defensive point #14 was not an important position, that was why the HQ did not even bother giving them specific orders.

Reina: "What the heck!? The HQ said to just leave them be, you know?"

Yumina: "Reina there's nothing we can do about it."

Airi: "This place is relatively safe, that's why HQ was letting them do that."

Reina: "Is that so? In that case, how about we explore the area too?"

Katsuya: "No, we can't"

Reina: "Why?! Why should we hold back when they don't?"

Katusya: "If we leave this place too, it would be bad. That's why we won't go anywhere. Moreover, I don't want you to do the same thing as those scum."

Reina looked a bit intimidated but then she relaxed. Her expression turned from being irritated to slightly embarrassed.

Reina: "W-Well, you won our last mock battle. And since we agreed that the one who lost would obey the winner. I'll hold myself back here."

Katsuya: "Thank you."

Airi pouts because of Katsuya's action again. Yumina just smiled, while continuing to steal glances at Rimuru.

Shiori: "Milady, I'm also against going around carelessly."

Reina: "A-Alright."

Shiori: "We're in the middle of the wasteland. Unlike the inner wall, this place is extremely dangerous. Please understand that milady is taking this too lightly."

'I want people to recognize my skill too, just like Katsuya... Will this request end without me achieving anything?' Reina thought.

Suddenly a voice came out from the communication relay device installed in that place.

[This is HQ, defensive point #14. Answer me.]

Everyone quickly gathered around the communication device, Mimata who was the closest one answered back.

Mimata: "This is defensive point #14."

[Do you notice anything out of the ordinary over there?]

Mimata: "Nope, it's too peaceful here."

[It seems that the defensive point #15 got attacked. Although we've confirmed that it's inside the area. We believe that the Yarata Scorpions have created a new route.]

Mimata: "So, we need to look out for an attack?"

[No, send some people from there to check around the area.]
