Chapter 31 New Stage of Friendship.

Lower District Residential

Elena was crying while holding Sara's hands. After changing her clothes Sara's breathing became ragged and her face turned pale.

She immediately called Rimuru for help.

Rimuru: "Okay. I'm on my way there, I'm already done with my business at the Hunter Office anyway. Just be there with Sara."

Elena: "Mm... Please hurry, I don't know what to do if her condition gets worse than this..."

Rimuru: "Don't worry, I have something here that might help Sara's current situation."

Soon after, Rimuru arrives at Elena's house. He immediately goes to their bedroom.

There he sees Elena crying, holding Sara's hands. Sara's complexion states that if he arrives any later, she will die.

Rimuru: "Elena get some towels and water. Don't ask any questions now. We don't have time."

Elena quickly leaves the room to get some towels.

Meanwhile, Rimuru prepares the medicine. It is powerful in this world, enough to heal Sara's illness with her strength intact.

He immediately pours the potion directly into her mouth. He noticed that Sara had no problem taking the medicine and guessed that she would be fine after a few days' rest.

Still, she needed to dispose of the dead nanites inside her. Rimuru thought that it would be better if she threw it all up.

Elena: "Rimuru! Here, some water and towels. How is she?"

Rimuru: "She's fine now. But she needs to throw the nanites inside her. It should be happening now."

Elena: "Huh? What do you mean?"

Elena's questions were answered when Sara started throwing up blood.

Rimuru put the bucket where Sara's throwing her nanites.

Elena immediately panics thinking that the situation is getting worse but Rimuru casually stands near her looking at Sara hurling all the nanites that have been stored inside her body.

After a while, Sara stops throwing up. Rimuru looks down, looking at Sara's hazy expression, he lifts her head and wipes the blood that's still in her mouth before putting her back to bed.

'It seems like the potion is working. Now she should be waking up a few days from now on.'

Rimuru: "Seems like she's done taking out all the nanites. Her body will start to recover, just let her rest until she wakes up."

Elena: "R-Really? Thank you Rimuru!! Thank you!!"

Overcome with joy, Elena hugs Rimuru with tears in her eyes, both Sara and Elena have been together since they were kids.

Just imagining losing Sara makes Elena lose her sanity.

Rimuru: "Now, just stay here with Sara until she wakes up. There should be no problem with the medicine I gave her."

Elena: "You saved our lives many times already, Rimuru. I don't know how to repay you."

Rimuru: "It's nothing. With this, you won't have any problem regarding her nanites anymore. Just be careful more in the future though."

Elena: "Mm, we'll do that... Are you going home now?"

'She didn't even question what kind of medicine I gave Sara. She's out right now. I guess that shows how important Sara is to her.'

Rimuru: "Yeah, I'm sure you're tired. A lot of things happened today. So, get some rest."

Elena: "Wait! How about you stay here for tonight?"
