Chapter 27 Wonders of the girls.

After explaining to Shiori that there's a deal between him and the Kugamayama City Government. Shiori agreed to act like nothing happened.

After that, they ordered their food and ate, though because of Rimuru's action, Shiori was completely taken aback as Rimuru ate like he was a noble from inside the walls.

There's elegance in the way he ate.

"As I remember Rimuru-sama came from the slums, it is impossible for someone who came there to be this elegant. Not only that based on what Rimuru-sama said earlier. The City management already recognizes his ability as a Hunter. There should be at least a rumour about him but Drankam's information network has no information contained about him... From time to time they asked questions to each other, though in Shiori's case, she was probing for information about Rimuru.

Shiori: "For Drankam they're already old enough to be good Hunters but there are a lot of people who were against that move. But it's a reality that there's a lot of young hunters that are good at their jobs."

Rimuru: "Yeah, maybe you're right. However, there's a mistake that the upper management in Drankam made."

Shiori: "Hm? And what is that, Rimuru-sama?"

Rimuru: "They forgot who was with them when they started the gang. In my case I can sympathize with them, considering they've been neglected and treated like shit. Sooner or later those guys will face such a huge loss to the point they'll have a hard time getting up."

After that their talk shifts to Katsuya, complaining about how he caused misunderstandings here and there and even trying to flirt with her in the presence of Reina.

That's when a call reached Shiori, and they decided to end their conversation there.

After Rimuru leaves, Shiori answers the call. Through the other line, she hears a playful voice which makes Shiori's eyes turn serious.

Shiori: "Kanae, it's me. I'm coming back now, please inform the young miss."

[Ok. Ah, and are you good?]

Shiori: "I'm fine, we were just talking. Kanae, I hope you haven't said anything appropriate to young Miss in my absence."

[We're just talking a bit about her job and that guy called Katsuya that's driving her crazy. Oh, we also talked about what happened in the underground city. You got beaten up and someone else saved the young miss, eh? Is this the guy you met up with just now?]

Shiori: "... And did I not order you to avoid talking about what happened in the underground city with her?"

[We just reached that topic naturally. I couldn't avoid it. If you have such an issue, then come back quickly.]

Shiori: "I'll be there as soon as possible."

Rimuru goes to Katsuragi to sell some relics, and after that, he decides to meet with Shizuka to buy some new equipment and a new vehicle.

Shizuka noticed that she was sighing more than usual lately and she knows why.

It's because it's been weeks since Rimuru visited her shop. She knows it may be because there's an extension contract or something happened.

But before her imagination goes rampant again the source of her troubles comes in.
