Chapter 11 Anchor of Emotions.

3rd POV

The next morning Rimuru decided to go to Shizuka for ammo replenishment. There he meets Elena who is talking to Shizuka inside the shop.

Elena: "Oh my, Rimuru. How's your body?"

Rimuru: "Elena-san, thank you very much for taking care of me. And Shizuka-san I need ammo again a lot of-"

Rimuru couldn't finish his words because Shizuka suddenly hugged him, Rimuru returned the hug to Shizuka.

Shizuka: "... I'm glad you're alright."

Rimuru: "I'm sorry to have made you worry but I'm okay now thanks to Elena-san and Sara-san."

Shizuka tightened her embrace before letting Rimuru go.

Shizuka: "Being a Hunter is a dangerous job. I at least know that much, but please don't make me worry too much, okay?"

Rimuru: "Yes, I'll be more careful next time."

Shizuka: "Alright. So, ammo replenishment, right? Wait here."

Elena: "Do you want me to do that too?"

Rimuru: "Really? I don't mind a hug if it's coming from you Elena-san."

Elena was startled, she was only teasing Rimuru but didn't expect Rimuru to respond like that.

Elena: "I was just only teasing you Rimuru."

Rimuru: "Is that so? That's a shame I want to hug Elena-san too."

Elena: "Eh...?"

Shizuka: "Here it is Rimuru, you also want some additional ammo, right? By the way, are you going to the wasteland right away?"

Rimuru: "Yep, I needed to make it up for the expense that I used that day."

Shizuka: "I see, be careful out there, okay?"

Rimuru: "Yes, thank you Shizuka-san."

Rimuru finished his preparations and was about to go out when Elena suddenly hugged Rimuru from the back.

Rimuru: "Elena-san!?"

Elena: "This is only for today, okay?"

Rimuru noticed that Elena's body was getting hot so he turned around and saw that Elena was blushing.

Shizuka too didn't expect Elena would do something like that but she just smiles at Elena when she lets go of Rimuru.

Elena: "Okay! Be careful out there, okay!?"

Rimuru: "Yes ma'am!"

After Rimuru leaves Elena was teased by Shizuka a lot.

Erio POV

Erio was in the wasteland trying his luck to find a relic to get back into the gang.

'Alicia!'

Alicia: "Thanks to Rimuru the gang is working with a merchant named Katsuragi-san. Thanks to that the gang is doing pretty well. Erio, I'll try to convince Sheryl too. So, don't do anything stupid okay?"

'What the heck am I doing!? Dammit!! I was thinking of searching for a relic to bring to Sheryl to get her to forgive me but...'

The monster chasing me is closing in!

'Am I... going to die here!?'

Suddenly a loud gunshot can be heard and the head of the monster has been torn to pieces.

Erio: "... I'm saved? I'm saved!! I'M SAVED!!"

Rimuru: "Shut the fuck up! You're going to lure the monster here!"
