my eyes cracked open due to sunlight directly hitting my face I opened my eyes fully before sitting up

I leaned over the side of the bed looking at Kareem sleep peacefully on the floor I wanted him to take my bed but he insisted on sleeping on the floor

I crawled on the other side of my bed getting out of the bed quietly and walking into my bathroom freshening up

after washing my face and brushing my teeth I walked back out the bathroom seeing Kareem folding the blanket he was sleeping with

I watched him as all his muscles flexed with every move he took he turned around giving me a full look at his abs

he needed to be shirtless all the time.

"Mornin" He spoke his voice a lot deeper than usual from him just waking up "Good Morning" I smiled up at him

"um I have extra toothbrushes in my drawer and there's a extra face towel for you" Kareem nodded walking past me into the bathroom

I walked to the kitchen seeing Rya cooking breakfast the smell of bacon instantly hitting my nostrils "Smells good in here" I announced myself Rya laughed as she flipped the pancake that was in the pan

"How is he?" Rya asked turning around facing me "He seems a lot better from yesterday" Rya nodded "So who was big spoon?"

"Rya what!" I semi yelled laughing walking around the kitchen grabbing a piece of bacon "What y'all slept in the same bed" she shrugged

"For your information no we did not he was on the floor and I was on my bed, plus we're just friends" I shrugged bitting into the bacon

"Right, I've heard that before" she chuckled pouring the pancake mix into the pan starting another pancake I rolled my eyes "Yeah from you Ms. we're just friends and bible study partners, yet y'all fuckin on a regular Wednesday afternoon" I joked Rya gasped "Kari shut up" Rya swatted her hand towards me I quickly moved laughing Rya rolled her eyes

Kareem walked into the kitchen fully clothed "Mornin Ry" he greeted her sitting at the island "Good Morning hungry?"

"Yes ma'am" Rya nodded grabbing a plate and fixing it for him after she fixed his plate she slid it to him he silently prayed before taking a bite

His eyes went wide making me and Rya laugh "Damn Ry I didn't know you got down like that" Kareem took another bite "I do a lil sum" She shrugged smirking

"Orange juice?" I asked Kareem he nodded his eyes following me as I walked over to the fridge. Kareem eyed Kari's body as she wore shorts and a crop top showcasing her curvy figure Rya smirked watching him check out her bestfriend

I grabbed a cup before grabbing the orange juice I slid his cup over to him "Preciate you" he made eye contact with me I nodded smiling small "Here you go Bk" Rya slid my plate to where I would be eating at I thanked her grabbing myself a cup and sitting next to Kareem pouring myself some orange juice

I took a bite of my food "Damn nigga no prayer" Kareem chuckled looking at me I rolled my eyes as I continued to chew my food "Right she just don't know" Rya shook her head teasing me I shook my head

"I haven't prayed over my food in years I think I'll be fine" I took another bite after talking "Take that back right now shorty" Kareem frowned

"What?" I asked "Tweakin" he shook his head as he continued to eat I sighed "Okay how do I pray over my food?" I asked shifting my eyes between Kareem and Rya, Rya smiled.

"You want to take this one Reem?" Rya asked Kareem smirked setting down his cup "Aight" he nodded holding out both his hands

I hesitated before holding his hand Rya took Kareem other hand then mine "Heavenly Father we come before you today blessing the food that Rya prepared we ask that this food is a nourishment to our and bless the hands that prepared this food in Jesus name, Amen"
