"Just breathe mama, the nigga ain't gon do shit especially if Kingston is there"

I took a deep breath nodding as I sat in my car infront of my mother's house, She invited me and Kingston over for dinner and a family meeting I already knew what this was about

I wasn't really nervous about Greg I was nervous about Kingston, I know he didn't have nothing nice to say to this man and with him coming into this blindly it wouldn't be good

But me and my mom know, if we told him he would not show up. at all.

"I know I'm just nervous for Kingston" I sighed as I looked down at Kareem on facetime he was at his parents house fixing their water heater

How he had the skills to do that, that is beyond me but very attractive love me a good handy man "He gon handle himself the best he can ma, if it don't turn out well i'm sure he'll come around"

Silence took over the call Kareem grabbed his phone allowing me to finally get a look at that God given face "After yo family meeting slide to my crib"

I rose my eyebrows "What?! you finally letting me know where you live"  Kareem laughed "Had to make sure you wasn't no crazy person"

Kareem was very strict on who knew where he lived he just didn't give out his address to anybody yes he knew Kari ever since his freshman year of high school but he still he didn't play about his house or where he laid his head at

I rolled my eyes shaking my head before I nodded "I would love to handsome"

"Oh shit I'm handsome now?"

I nodded laughing "You have all these names for me and I have none for you"

"Fair" I smiled "But imma cook you some dinner so don't eat before you come over here"

"I'm suppose to be having a family dinner" I chuckled Kareem smacked his lips "You know damn well none of y'all are eating" Kareem spoke smartly causing me to laugh

"Well aren't you just spoiling me Mr. Carter" I teased he smirked "Shawty you lucky I can't say any dirty jokes" I busted out laughing

"Good it's not fair you can torture me and I can't do nothing about it" I shrugged he shook his head

I looked off to my side seeing Kingston pulling up "Okay handsome I gotta go your bestfriend just pulled up"

Kareem chuckled "Aight mama call me when you done" I nodded

"Bye" I said before hanging up Kingston walked over to my car I turned it off and he pulled open the door "Wassup lil mama"

"You know what this is about?" He frowned I tucked in my lips I hated lying to my brother because it never ended up good and I hated being on my brothers bad side it wasn't fun

I nodded slowly he kept the frown on his face "What is it?"

"Just wait till mama tells you" Was all I said before I walked away from my car Kingston closed the door and I hit the lock button on my fob to lock it we began to walk to the front door

"How you been?" I looked over to Kingston he shrugged "Coo the club got some auditions goin on right now for dancers"

I nodded those seasonal audition be havin him stressed sometimes "Sabrina is helpin me out with those though"

I gasped "Finally!" he chuckled

"Like damn the girl would know she was a bottle girl"

Kingston pushed me "Shut up dawg" I laughed shaking my head we got to the door Kingston rung the door bell we waited till the door was opened by my mom
