"I'm so nervous" I mumbled to myself as I looked at myself in the mirror

I was currently getting ready to meet Kareem's family and I was a nervous wreck, I looked at my outfit I had black dad jeans on with a graphic crop top on which was barely showing any skin

I paired that with some white 550 new balances I wore a natural makeup look and my hair was in a curly updo

I sat on my bed grabbing my phone seeing Kareem's text from 2mins ago

Babe🫶🏾: I'm outside
Me: Coming

I grabbed my purse and phone throwing my phone into my purse I took one more look at myself in the mirror satisfied with what I saw I left my apartment

I got to Kareem's car he leaned over the center console popping the door open for me I smiled getting into the car "Thank you handsome" I looked over to him as I closed the door

"You look good" Kareem looked at me with lustful eyes I smiled shyly under his gaze leaning over to peck his lips "I have lipgloss on babe" I said as he went in for another and deeper kiss "I don't care gimme my kiss girl"

I laughed leaning over again to give him another kiss after I satisfied Kareem he drove out of my apartment complex

"I'm nervous" I sighed heavily shifting in my seat Kareem looked over to me chuckling and grabbing my hand "Don't mama they gon love you, plus they've met you before"

"I know it's just now your introducing me as your girlfriend"

"You gon be good baby, My sister is excited to meet you" Kareem glanced over to me I smiled "Really?"

Kareem nodded "She's been ready to meet you when I first said I was feelin you" I laughed

"When did you first start feelin me" I asked looking over to him he chuckled glancing at me before looking at the road again "The first night I came home and went to see mama with King"

"As soon as you walked into yo mama's room I was like nah she different" Kareem shook his head I gasped "You had a girlfriend Kareem"

"Yeah but I knew she wasn't gonna be my wife, I wanted her to be but I knew deep down she wasn't" I laughed shaking my head "Just grimy"

"Nah atleast I ain't cheat on her ass like she did me" Kareem face frowned I looked at him intently "How you feel about that now?" I asked tilting my head Kareem shrugged

"It is what it is"

"No babe really how do you feel about it?"

"I don't wanna talk about this right now mama" I nodded no longer badgering him on the topic I know it can still hurt because getting cheated on by somebody that you loved wasn't fun

"How you know you first liked me" Kareem changed the topic glancing over at me "The Washington mission, you putting me in my place turned me on" I laughed looking over to him he smirked

"Yo ass was wylin, I don't know what yo ex nigga was bout but I ain't wit that slick shit" Kareem glanced at me I rolled my eyes smirking "Whatever"

"O my goodness babe I forgot to tell you" I gasped turning my body towards him he glanced between me and the road "So I was at the store the other day buying groceries" I began laughing because I already knew how Kareem was about to react

"Tell me why this nigga gon walk up to me and start spittin game"

"He all like, ain't no way you single" I spoke in a deep voice Kareem glanced over to me mugging I began laughing again
