Tay's POV:
Three days... it's been three days... since Meg FUCKING talked to me! To say I was heated was an understatement. Oh I was fucking furious! She was radio silence ever since she dropped me home that day. When I went into my room to video call her, she said her family needed her for something and she would call me back. Past midnight I stayed up for this girl to call me, but instead I got a stupid text saying "goodnight. Can't talk. Will call tomorrow". Being the good girlfriend I am, I assumed she was tired and needed sleep. Then morning came and I went through my usual routine of watching people's stories, and I saw MY FUCKING GIRLFRIEND at some party with her other friends from football. I was beyond pissed at this point and needed time to cool off.
I waited all day for an explanation and didn't get any. I feel like I was losing my mind and I DID NOT like feeling that shit. She even was hiding from me by sending her co-captain to finish working on our mural for the fair. I wanted to call her and bombard her with messages, but Gia convinced me that I would be the one chasing even though I did nothing wrong and I agree! It was now Friday and I know the female football team has a mandatory practice for a big game against our rival, so I decided to drop by.
Me and Gia sat on the bleachers and watched as they came out the locker rooms to go on the field. Meg was the first one to come out. It's only been three days, but no amount of time apart will help me easily digest the beauty this girl possesses. She wore an all black football jersey and had her hair was in a secured bun at the top of her head with little curly tendrils framing her face. She had on a dangling gold chain that would sway anytime she did any major movements. At one point the practice got too intense and she decided to take her Jersey shirt off. It was like in slow motion and I caught a glimpse of her abs before she tugged the undershirt down back. Now her beautiful arms were out and glistening in the sun. I am in too deep with this girl because even though I was angry as hell right now, I still wanted to run up to her and hold her.
I'm gonna beat her up for making me angry and restraining myself from touching her.
"Damn Tay, atleast blink girl" Gia teased from beside me and I playfully shoved her when I got back to reality.
We sat there for half an hour and they finally got a water break. All of them were huddled in a circle discussing whatever, but then one of the players came towards us on the bleachers and pointed to us to come closer.
We did what we were told to hear what the girl had to say."Hi! I'm Judy. I don't think we have met" the brown skin girl with knotless braids greeted.
"Hi I'm Gia and this is Tay" Gia greeted back and I just nodded and smile at her.
"Oh! So you're Tay! Okay this was easier than I thought. Meg wanted me to tell you to wait for her in the school parking lot" she directed towards me and I looked over to Meg who was avoiding eye contact with me. This girl...
"She also sent these." She said handing me and Gia a bottle of cold water each.
"Are you like their servant or something?" Gia blatantly asked causing the girl to let out a chuckle.
"No it's just rookie duties but it's not that bad since I got to see your beautiful face." She said winking and then jogging back to her team.
"Ooouuu I think she likes youuuu." I teased and she rolled her eyes but was obviously cheesing over the encounter.
"Oh shut up... you should be worried about your own little situation" she retorted and it was my turn to roll my eyes.
After hours of just watching them kick around a ball and yelling at each other, the practice finally ended. The sun was about to set so me and Gia started to make over to the parking lot.
