Early update because I felt like it<3
It was almost Christmas, the holidays where coming and Diana had just finished packing her bags. She hugged Indigo tightly, knowing she wasn't going to see her on the train.
She ignored Maggie's scoff when she pulled away and then hugged Bianca. "Remember to owl me, and don't forget to sent me some of your mothers home made fudge!" She said and Diana chuckled. "Yes Ma'am!"
She walked over to Maggie and hugged her, it was slightly awkward. Diana started to notice that Maggie was forming a hatred towards her, she couldn't explain why, exactly.
"See you after the holidays!" She said and left the room, knowing that the luggage would be send to the train by magic.
She greeted Alice by the fireplace. "Hey, Al. Are you done packing?" Diana asked and Alice smiled at her.
"Hi, Diana. I am, I suppose you are too?" She asked and Diana nodded. "Where are you headed too, then?"
"Just going to say goodbye to some friends, I'll see you on the train?" She asked and Alice nodded with a bright smile, "see you on the train, Day." Diana waved and excited the common room.
She made her way to the third floor, knowing that a certain group of Slytherins would be there.
And indeed, when she turned the right corner, they where sitting by the big window. Almost everyone noticed her, except for Barty, who was sitting with his back towards her.
Diana laid her finger on her lips, silently making her way towards them. They tried to ignore her presence and distracted Barty.
"BOO!" She grabbed his shoulders "bloody hell!" He yelled in surprise, turned around and took a few steps back.
Everyone laughed while he rolled his eyes. "Not funny, Ana." He said and Diana gave him an amused look. "Why is everyone laughing then?" She asked and he opened his mouth but closed it again looking down.
"Awe, poor Barty. Did the mean girl scare you?" Evan cowed and Diana huffed a laugh while Barty swatted Evans hand that was reaching towards him away.
"Are you excited for Christmas, Diana?" Pandora asked in her dreamy voice. "Very! That's why I came here. I wanted to say goodbye, but I was also wondering if any of you wanted to come to my house on Christmas or Boxing Day." She said happily.
"Oh, I would love to, but I think my parents are going to some parties and I have to come." Pandora said.
"I probably have to attend those stupid party's so no, I can't come, sorry Diana." Evan apologised. "My father is very keen on having Christmas diner and he's probably at work on Boxing day, I don't want my mother to be alone then." Barty explains.
"And you, Reg? Has Sirius asked you to come? I told him he should, seeing he's going to our house on Christmas Eve and staying for a few days." Diana looked at Regulus who cast his eyes down.
"Oh, he didn't ask, no. But I'm not really planning on coming, my parents would be really mad and I don't want to deal with that, but thanks for the invite, Day." He says with a fake smile and Diana smiled back at him, trying not to show that she felt bad for him.
"And you, Cas?" Diana looked at the e girl who was deep in thoughts. "I actually think I can come on Boxing Day. My parents are going to relatives in America, they gave me the option to come, but I'd rather not. If you'll have me, I'd love to visit." She said and Diana's face brightened.
"Yes! Yes ofcourse we'll have you! I'll owl you about the time and shit- is your fireplace connected to the Floo Network?" She asked. "Yes, if yours is too, then I'll travel with Floo-Powder." Dorcas started getting excited too.
