It was Wednesday night and Diana went downstairs. She couldn't sleep so she got some water and sat down at the table when someone knocked on the door. She tiptoed towards it and questioned if she wanted to open up. It was raining outside and she could hear the wind howling. Above all the sound, three knocks were heard again.
She peaked around the curtain and she saw a boy with quite long hair stand there. She didn't think twice and opened the door. "Sirius, what the hell." She stood aside so he could walk in.
"Hey, little Potter." He grinned. Diana quickly closed the door. "What are you doing here? Come inside, I'll make some tea- why aren't you wearing a jacket it's freezing!" She scolded and he followed her to the kitchen where she turned on the water boiler.
"Wait here, I'm getting James and my parents." She said and ran upstairs. She went for James first. She opened the door and threw of his covers.
"Get up." She commanded. "Didi, what- it's 4 am!" He said tired and Diana sighed. "I know, Sirius is downstairs." She said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"What, why?" He questioned and she shrugged. "No idea, go ask him, I'm waking mom and dad." She said and left the room and opened the door to her parents bedroom.
"Dad." She whispered. "He let out a snore and Diana spiked him. "Dad, wake up." He suddenly shot up, waking Euphemia aswell.
"What? What's happening?" She asked. "Why did you wake me, is something wrong." Her dad looked at her.
"No- wel maybe... Sirius is downstairs, I don't know how he got here, I don't know why he is here, he just is." She explained. "James is with him."
"Oh, Merlin." Euphemia hot out of bed, put on a dressing gown and her slippers and went downstairs. Fleamont quickly did the same and Diana followed them downstairs.
When they got downstairs, James had finished making the tea that Diana started and was sitting at the table with Sirius who was soaking wet.
"What are you doing her, my boy?" Fleamont asked and Sirius immediately started apologising. "No- no it's fine, dear, you're alright. Diana go get a towel." Euphemia ordered and Diana head back upstairs.
"Damn, I'm getting a whole workout in one night." She mumbled and went into the bathroom.
She grabbed the biggest towel they have and went downstairs again. The moment she walked into the kitchen, Euphemia grabbed the towel and put it around Sirius.
"Does she know you're here then?" James asked him. "No, I told you, we got into a fight and I left because she was annoying." He explains. "Not like she's worried." He mumbled after.
"And what about Regulus, is he still there?" Diana asked and Sirius shrugged. "I suppose, I haven't see him around much, he rather stays out of fights with our parents, doesn't like the trouble." He explains.
"Well you can stay for the time being but I'll probably owl your mother that your safe." Euphemia said and Sirius' head shot up. "But she'll be here the moment the owl arrives, please don't..." he pleads.
"Fine, I'll owl her Friday, then she probably doesn't have the time to get you before the e holidays end." Euphemia agrees with a sigh.
"You should take a shower, boy, you'll catch a cold." Fleamont let Sirius up to the bathroom and Euphemia got her kids back in bed.
