James had his hands on Diana's shoulders, he knew damn well that older kids loved walking straight into the first years and he wasn't taking any chances.

He walked past a compartment and saw Remus and Peter. He quickly stopped and opened the door. "Why hello." He said and pulled Diana in with him. "Hi James, hey Day." Peter greeted. "Hi, Pete." Diana said, als ready knowing him since their parents are friends.

She looked at Remus who smiled. "Hello, Diana, it's very nice to meet you, I'm Remus Lupin." He greeted, sticking out his hand. Diana shook it. "Hi." She said shyly.

"Dear people, don't you fear, the baddest bitch alive is here." Sirius entered the compartment. "Hey, little Potter! Your starting this year! I almost forgot!" He said excited, hitting her shoulder lightly.

She smiled, trying to fight the redness trying to creep onto her cheeks. Diana was happy that James got her to sit with them and she happily waved at her parents when they left.

She took a deep breath and got comfortable on the couch in the compartment. "So, how was the summer." James looked around and one after one, the boys talked about their summer.

"Oh, it was alright. We went to this muggle beach, it was quite nice, but really crowded. I think I like it more at home with moms cool air charm." Peter told them.

"Ugh, my mom made me go to these stupid pure-blood party's. Not going to lie, the food is good most of the time, except if it's fish of course. But anyway, it was boring of course, and since Andromeda ran away years ago, I had no one to talk to." Sirius complained.

"What about your brother, couldn't you talk to him?" Diana asked and Sirius shook his head. "No, Reg doesn't want to talk to me, I think Walburga told him something, though I could see he didn't like the party's either. I did get to piss the witch of when at home though. Got a cut on my arm to prove it." He showed it proudly.

Diana's small smile fell and she looked at the others who where also staring in horror. "She did that? Your mom I mean?" James asked, Sirius nodded grinning.

"Yeah, I 'accidentally' let the vase of one of my great, great, great, great grandmothers, who could also be an aunt at the same time, fall on the ground and it broke." Everyone was giving him worried looks.

"Oh it's nothing, I'm fine. I'm sure you got loads, you're not exactly an angel, James." He looked at James with an expecting look. He didn't do anything though.

"Oh, don't be ashamed, look, I've also got a few on my legs." He rolled up the right side of his pants, Diana clasped a hand to her mouth when she saw the scars. "I- no, I don't." James croaked out.

"Oh, lucky." Sirius said a bit confused. "I- that's not normal, Sirius." Remus said worried. "Parents don't hurt their kids."

It was silent for a long time after that, Sirius seems to be needing some time to process and Diana balled her fists. Was this going on inside his home? Was he really treated this bad? She already started to grow hate towards the Blacks.

Soon, James told the others about his and Diana's summer and after a while, the atmosphere was back to normal.

"James?" Diana tapped his shoulder. "Didi?" He looked at his sister. "Where's the toilet?" She asked a bit embarrassed.

"Oh, you just walk out, go to the right, keep walking and you'll find two doors, you go to the left one." He explained and Diana nodded and got out of the compartment.

Soon she found the toilet, did her business, changed, and walked back outside. On her way back, she wasn't looking forward and bumped right into someone.
