Fun fact:Regulus was scared of Barty in their first year, but Barty wouldn't leave him alone because he thought Regulus was really cool.
Two days she had already spent in the hospital wing and Madam Pomfrey made her stay even longer.
"Please, Poppy, I promise I'll lay in bed all day." She said but the woman wouldn't budge. "Don't be stubborn, Potter, you stay here, it's only for another one day." She said.
Her friends had visited her. Even Indigo and Bianca had come, telling her Maggie was being stubborn and didn't want to come.
"I don't care, I don't even want her to come." Diana had rolled her eyes. It made the two girls giggle a bit and they left when Barty and Evan arrived.
"Oh, baby, look at you being all wounded and stuff." Barty said in a belittling voice and she laughed at him -which did hurt her head, but she ignored it- "yeah, I know babe, look at me being all sad." She went along.
"Excuse me?" Evan raised an eyebrow, yet there was a smirk evident on his face. "Oh, don't be jealous Evan, you are my one and only love." Diana said and Barty shot her a small glare. "Hey, you have the wrong Slytherin. Are you sure that concussion is almost gone?" He said sassily and she rolled her eyes.
"Sirius has been picking fights with Regulus for some reason." Evan said after some silence. "We suspect he's mad you chose Reg over him or your brother." He went on. "Stupid really, but Regulus is just ignoring him, making him even madder." Barty explained.
"He is such a child, I'll talk to him when I get out of here." She shook her head annoyed. "When are you allowed out then?" Barty asked. "Tomorrow whenever I wake up, I am a free woman." She said a tat excited.
"Are you joining the match then?" Evan questioned looking a bit worried. "No, Poppy won't allow it. Sirius and James wouldn't either anyway. I suppose Wilson is going to take my spot." She explained.
So, just like that, Diana was dismissed the next morning. Pomfrey told her once again that she still had to be careful and rest enough and after that, she was on her way to the Gryffindor common room.
When she entered, the marauders where already up along with Marlene who had joined them at the fireplace.
"Hey, you're back!" Remus said with a smile. "Day! How are you?" James got up to greet his little sister and she smiled. "I'm fine, just a headache now, nothing to worry about." She reassured.
Marlene and Peter also happily greeted her, expressing how happy they where she was back on her feet.
"Hello to you too, Sirius." Diana deadpanned and he narrowed his eyes. "I'm expecting an apology," he said and she huffed. "Stop acting like a child! This is exactly why I did not choose you to stay in the room with me!" She said getting annoyed now.
"Oh, so you do know what I am talking about then?" He raised an eyebrow and she rolled her eyes. "Yeah, Ev and Barty told me you've been picking fights with your brother since the accident, obviously I know what you're on about."
"Just leave it, Sirius." Marlene said in a warning tone of voice. "No! I'm so sick of you choosing those stupid Slytherins over us! How can you choose them over your own brother! Or over me?" He stood up now and she bit her lip not sure what to say.
She just wanted Regulus in that moment, otherwise she would have chosen James, of course, why did he have to make such a big deal out of it.
"No words now, huh?" Sirius continued, taking a step forward. "I'm going to stop your right there, this is still my sister you are talking to." James intervened. "You are not mad she chose him over you?" Sirius asked.
"She had a concussion, Pads, she wasn't in her right state of mind at that moment, I can forgive her for that." James spoke, and even though what he said wasn't true, Diana decided to keep her mouth shut for now.
"Fine, I'll leave it." Sirius said and he sat back down. "I'm going to my dorm." Diana said irritated and she walked of. "Wow, good job, Sirius." Marlene said pissed as she followed the girl.

The next day, Diana made her way to the great hall for breakfast, accompanied by Marlene, Mary, Lily and Alice. As they teased Alice about her crush on Longbottom, they heard a girl yell something.
"No! Please give it back! That was my grandmother's!" She said sounding like she was crying. Diana recognised the voice and angrily turned the corner where she found Lisa, Indigos little sister, while Mulciber smirked, holding a locket out of her reach.
"Awe, is the little mudblood going to cry?" Mulciber said in a babying voice, making his friends laugh. Diana marched up to them seeing red with anger. "You give her that locket back right now!" She said with a threatening tone of voice.
The three other girls quickly followed her as she pulled out her wand. "Or what?" Mulciber asked mockingly. "Or I'm going to fucking hex you into the next century, give me the locket." Diana had her wand pointed at him and he was about to make a remark when they heard someone call out. "What is happening here?"
They looked up to find Slughorn walking up and Diana put her wand down. "Mulciber stole Lisa's locket and refuses to give it back!" She quickly said. "Is that true, mister Mulciber?" Slughorn asked and the older boy clenched his teeth and handed the locket back to the girl.
"It was all just a joke, sir, nothing bad really, miss Potter here was just over exaggerating it a bit." He said and Slughorn I observed for a moment before shrugging. "Alright then, Goodmorning." He said before walking of.
"Dick." Diana mumbled and Mulciber and his friends grinned before walking of. "Are you alright? Do I need to get your sister?" Lily had already turned to the younger girl. "No! I'm fine, thank you so much!" Lisa said with a smile, looking at Diana.
"No problem, love." She said and hufflepuff smiled before skipping away, the girls watching her turn the corner before continuing their way to the great hall.
"Diana!" About 20 feet from the doors to the great hall someone called out. "Go, I'll catch up later." She reassured and Marlene looked at the approaching boy sceptically before looking back at her chosen sister. "You sure?"
"It's fine, Marls." Diana reassured her, so the four girls left and the youngest turned to Sirius approaching her. "What?" She asked rather bitterly. "I'm sorry, alright, I was a complete arse yesterday and completely out of line." He said and she raised her eyebrows.
"What's funny, Sirius, is that I find you apologising to me a lot lately, seeing you mess shit up a lot." She said and he opened his mouth, and then closed it again, pursing his lips and then nodding.
"I know." He said in a small voice, avoiding eye contact. "My, my, look at that, the 'Gryffindor King' being embarrassed and apologetic, a rather rare sight, don't you think?" Diana asked, still bitter.
He swallowed, looking at the ground and she made a humming sound, indicating that she was waiting for an answer. He just nodded and she huffed. "I'll think about your apology, see you later." She turned on her heel and entered the great hall where she joined the girls again.
Quick chapter before I go to school again tomorrow.
