The next day, Diana felt better and just went about her day, she didn't know what to feel when she walked into her potions lesson. She just sat down next to Regulus who didn't even greet her.
When the lesson started, there was an awkward silence, Regulus avoiding eye contact.
Diana just sighed and said what they needed for the potion they where brewing and Regulus stood up and went to get it.
They made it in silence, Diana now and then telling him what to do as she tried to blink away the tears that formed in her eyes a few times.
The one time Regulus looked at the girl, she was cutting some daisy roots and he noticed the small scars on her knuckles that where slightly bleeding, they seemed old, but seeing the blood, made him realise she was still picking at them and he felt absolutely terrible.
When she handed him the roots, he added them and then pulled a lollipop out of his pocket and laid it in front of her, still not looking at her as he stirred in the cauldron.
Diana stared at it and then opened it up, thanking Merlin that it worked and she didn't have to ask him to do it for her.
The two of them didn't notice the concerned glances that Evan and Barty where shooting at them and each other, not knowing what happened between the two of them.
When the lesson was done, Diana packed her stuff and noticed Regulus quickly gathered everything and walked out, Barty and Evan smiled at her as they passed by and then ran after him.
She just sighed and continued packing. The worst thing was that after lunch— that was right now- she had potions again.
This hour was just as awkward and Diana was so done with it that she skipped defence against the dark arts and went back to the common room.
In the halls she bumped into Pandora and Dorcas who greeted her with bright smiles.
"Diana! We haven't seen you at all, we heard you where sick, are you alright now?" Dorcas laid a hand on Diana's upper arm and the girl nodded.
"I'm fine, just heading to the common room." She mumbled. "Are you sure you're alright? You seem rather pale." Pandora asked worried.
"I'm fine, Dora, it's just that Regulus is ignoring me and I don't know why, I think he may be annoyed by me." She explained and she saw the two exchange glances.
"I don't think he would be annoyed by you at all. He really likes you- as a friend, I mean. We'll talk to him, see what is wrong, now you go and rest, you don't seem well." Pandora assured her and Diana nodded and bit the girls goodbye.
She made her way to the common room and muttered the password to the fat lady.
She just sat by the fire and soon fell asleep, even though she didn't really mean to.

A week past and Regulus hadn't said a word, Diana hadn't told the Marauders, knowing they would be all 'we told you so!' And she didn't want that.
She had gotten better, she supposed it was just the stress and the fight with Maggie building tension in her body.
Pandora and Dorcas had tried to get out of Regulus what was going on but he resisted and didn't tell them, making the whole situation really confusing for everyone involved.
She was just sitting on the couch with Alice, the girl was enthusiastically talking about an older Gryffindor she met. His name was Frank Longbottom and she was over the moon about him, making Diana chuckle.
