Regulus was slowly eating a brownie while listening to the conversation Pandora and Dorcas where having about some ravenclaw seventh year.
His eyes trailed around the room when they landed on the Potter girl, trying to catch chocolate with her mouth that where being thrown by a girl Regulus knew as Alice Fortescue.
He watched her for a bit, laughing with Fortescue and cheering when she successfully caught one. He quickly looked away when Barty snapped his fingers in front of his eyes.
"What are you doing?" He asked and Regulus just shrugged, looking back to his brownie. "Nothing." He mumbled and Barty looked at him for a few seconds longer before shrugging it off.
Regulus wondered why he was so interested in said girl, because it wasn't the last time he had laid his eyes on her, not really able to take them off.
The next day on the first Hogsmeade weekend, he saw her enter the three broomsticks with her friends and looked at her a few times.
He had quickly looked away when he had met the hazel eyes.

When the Potter girl had called Pandora's name, Regulus had already balled his fist and he saw Evan an Barty also immediately looking up, ready to retort whatever witty comment was going to come.
They'd where all suprised. "Who gave you permission to look that good today?" She asked and the two girls in front of them just laughed. Dorcas had dressed Pandora today and Regulus couldn't deny she looked amazing.
Pandora 'awed' as Potter walked backwards to keep them in sight. "I did, you like it Potter?" Dorcas called, now also walking backwards.
The girl stuck up two thumbs and then the group of Slytherins disappeared behind a corner.
"What was that about?" Evan asked when Dorcas walked normal again. "Oh, it's Diana, she's really nice you know, Dora met her on the train." She explained.
"She wants something from you." Barty immediately jumped to conclusions. "What? No she doesn't, she's really nice, she kicked ass when two Ravenclaws stole my necklace!" Pandora glared at him.
"No, I agree, she definitely wants something." Evan nodded. "You're unbelievable." Dorcas groaned.
"We where actually thinking of inviting her to hang out with us." Pandora smiles. "All of us." She says.
Regulus has been silent the entire conversation. "What, no way! I'm not letting some Gryffindor hang out with us! Especially not Potter!" Barty rejects and the girls sight.
"Please..." Pandora looked at him with puppy eyes. "Its not going to work." He said in a sing song voice.
"Reg, say something, back us up." Evan said and he just shrugged. "I don't know, I suppose she's nice and all... but she's a Gryffindor- and a Potter." He said, jealousy stinging as he remembers the two Potter siblings being close to his brother.
"And a blood traitor." Barty ads. "Barty." Evan says in a warning voice, not agreeing with his sight on blood status.
"What? It's true!" He grumbled. "If she's a blood traitor, then I am to!" Evan raises his voice and Regulus shushes them.
"Well- you're different." He says and everyone sees the pink on his cheeks. "Awww." The girls chorus.
"Wait, Evan, are you starting to join our side?" Dorcas realises, linking her arm with Pandora. "You know what, sure." Evan linked arms with Dorcas.
