Remus had the worst handwriting ever, convince me otherwise. I dare you.

"That's so unfair!" James yelled after Diana who had closed the door he just opened to get out of his room and storm downstairs to open the door for Sirius who just rang the doorbell.

"You need to be faster, brother!" Diana yelled back and sprinted down the stairs, James close behind.

She opened the door in a rush and bolted forward into Sirius' arms. He chuckled and hugged her tightly.

"Why hello there, little Potter."  He greeted. James arrived to and pushed Diana away. "Let me properly hug my best friend." He said and then greeted Sirius with a friendly hug.

"How was Christmas Eve?" James asked and Sirius shrugged. "I hated it, but I stayed for Reg, have you got my owl?" He asked and Diana nodded.

She had been a bit sad when they received it, but at the same time, it had warmed her heart.

Flashback to the day before:

"James can suddenly eat properly, I see." Diana said when she saw her brother casually eat his pancakes with his cutlery. "Excuse me? I always eat properly." He gave her a small glare.

"You alway eat with your hands at school, it's disgusting." She muttered. "You do? James! I taught you manners for a reason!" Euphemia scolded and Diana grinned.

"Look, mom! Look at her grin! She's lying!" James said and Diana's grin dropped. "Diana?" Her mother looked at her. "No, it's true, I swear! Dad, come on, you've seen him when mom is away!" Diana looks at her dad for help.

"Sorry James, but I'm siding with your sister for this one." Fleamont nodded and James stuck out his tongue. "Manners, James! Manners!" Euphemia scolded.

"What? We don't even have guests over and it's Christmas Eve this day. Not to forget it's morning and I'm tired." He said and Diana looked offended.

"Excuse me, but if I remember correctly, you where the one jumping on my bed, yelling for me to wake up." She glared.

Before James could answer, there was tapping on the window. An owl sat there with a letter tied to its claw, seeming quite tired from the travel he had made.

Euphemia got up and opened the window. "Hello there." She greeted and took the letter. She gave the owl a treat and it flew away contently.

"Oh, it's from Sirius." She said after she read it. She then handed it to James who had a disappointed expression when he handed it to Diana.

Dear.. well, any Potter that's reading this.

I'm coming on Christmas morning instead of Christmas Eve. I've talked to my brother and he isn't coming with me to your house, though he has requested for me to stay for Christmas Eve. Meaning I'll have to attend that stupid party, but whatever. I'll see you in two days, or whenever this letter will reach you.

Love, Sirius.

Instead of being disappointed, Diana smiled as she handed the letter to her father. "Aren't you disappointed?" James asked and Diana nodded.

"I am, but isn't it sweet he's staying for Reg?" She asked and James huffed. "Oh, right, mom, dad. Have we told you yet? Diana has some new Slytherin friends." James said and Diana rolled her eyes.

"What!?" Fleamont slammed the letter down. "Oh, sweetie, that's wonderful." Euphemia kicked her husband under the table. "It's fun, sure, but watch your back, Diana, I don't want you hurt." He said and Diana rolled her eyes.

"I'll be fine, dad!" She said.

End of flashback.

"Oh, Sirius, Goodmorning to you, come in." Euphemia stood by the door and the three teenager walked inside.
