Lightbulb looked around the room as everyone stared at her, with Test Tube being the only one smiling at her & giving her a thumbs up. Lightbulb smiled & started her interview.
"As most of you know, I was born here on Inanimate Island & growing up, I always tried to see the good in everyone."
Liy was getting really bored & messed with her pen, which annoyed Lightbulb but ignored her & continued her sentence.
"We just went through another extermination & lost so many objects. & it breaks my heart to see my people being slaughtered every year. & no one is even given a chance!" Lightbulb banged her hand on the table so hard that it woke Liy up.
"I can't stand watching while the whole city is subjected to such violence! So I been thinking, is there a more peaceful way to endure overpopulation here on Inanimate Island? Perhaps we can create an alternative way to change objects through redemption? Well, I think yes! So that's what this project aims to achieve. Ladies, gentlemen, & other genders, I'm opening the first of its kind: A hotel that rehabilitates objects!"
Everyone at the news station stared at Lightbulb in silence. The objects watching the news laughed & called her nuts, & no one showed interest in her idea, except for one. The object was watching the news at the nearest store with the other objects. He was short & red with a bit of yellow, wearing a red striped suit along with a matching top hat & held a red staff. He smiled at her speech & wanted to hear more.
Back at the news station, the camera man laughed a little.
"Stupid bitch." He laughed. Test Tube, who was standing next to him, glared at him & immediately punched him.
Lightbulb knew that the silence wasn't a good sign & she broke the silence with a little idea.
"Look, every single one of you has something good deep down inside of all of you, maybe I'm not getting through to you." She smiled as she looked over to her bodyguards, The Cherries, & gave them a wink.
The Cherries looked at each other & smiled, & Test Tube immediately caught their glances & knew Lightbulb was going to sing.
"Oh no."
The Cherries turned off all the lights but one, which shined on Lightbulb. They went over to a piano set & played, as Lightbulb began to sing.
