Lightbulb, Test Tube, Fan & the residents of the Other Town headed back to the hotel.
"We should have enough time to get the hotel ready before next week, as well as practice our fighting skills." Lightbulb went over her plans. "Test Tube..." She leaned on her friend.
"Sure, I'll teach some skills." Test Tube smiled.
"You're the best!" She squealed & hugged her. "Hey, let me help you with those." She looked over & left to a group of objects.
"You know..." Fan blushed as he spoke to Test Tube. "I-I could use some skills too. That is, if you want to teach me of course."
"Sure. I can teach you some."
"Great. Also..."
He reached into his pocket & pulled out a silver cuff. The same exact one from the shop.
"Thought maybe you'd like this." He handed it to her.
Test Tube looked at the cuff & back at Fan, who looked away & blushed.
"It's nothing really. Just a thank you for, you know, everything you done for the hotel, the citizens, Lightbulb. I just chose what I thought you'd probably like &-"
"Thank you. I love it." Test Tube thanked him & kissed him on the cheek & left.
Fan turned redder & started floating.
The three walked inside the hotel & much to their surprise, everyone was putting up boards & working on the hotel.
"Yeah, fortify that." Paintbrush pointed at a few of the phones. They turned around to see Lightbulb, Test Tube & Fan back from their trip & hopped off the stairs.
"Well, look who decided to stay. I thought you guys were fightin' by yourselves." Paintbrush pulled them in.
"You're... You're still here." Test Tube smiled.
"What? Do ya think we were a bunch of pussies? Well, maybe Taco." They smirked, causing her to give them a stink eye.
"I just got used to these guys." Yang scoffed. "I ain't finding no new drinking buddies." He picked up & held Bow & Bot.
Lightbulb eyes grew big in excitement & hugged them.
"Thank you Painty. Thank you everyone. Now, we have a lot of work to do."
Everyone got back to work as they continued to protect the hotel from the extermination. It was going to be one busy week.
